 I went to the bird store a week after losing our Moluccan, Buddy. I had no intention of buying a bird. They showed me Bobbi who was just 5 weeks old at the time, so small and just quills. Fell immediately in love and she settled right into my arms and went to sleep. Put a deposit on her right away. After a year of ill health and a lot of help from our Bird Channel friends, she became mine. I am forever grateful and blessed!. |

I'm SO thrilled t'hear from you. Thanks so much for lettin' me know. I know there's lots of things for you and your mom t'be worried about right now, which is why your note is all the more precious. I'm sorry about the loss of power - 7 hours is a long time no matter what. Glad it wasn't longer though. We're used to that little convenience and so much about our lives uses that stuff!
What a bummer about the flooding and all the sand that's been blasted away from the beaches. If only that storm had made a right-hand turn instead of a left when it got to the coast. Sure would've saved everyone a lot of trouble, sorrow, loss and work. So glad you and your family are okay.

Hey Bobbi! I'm so sorry that your family are having so many medical issues, that's just not fair! I'm keeping my claws crossed that things get better. I was scared to death today, my human heard me scream and turned out that there was a hawk in the tree outside my sunroom window. Hey Bobbi dear, we actually got some rain last night and while it was not enough to make a big difference, we thank the Lord none the less, on behalf of our farmers! We live in the heartland of John Deere farm country, and are surrounded as far as the eye can see with corn and soy bean fields, we feed the world, and we are very proud of that! Needless to say, we are very upset about BT magazine and if we actually thought it would make a difference if we all begged them to stay, we would! They have other options, but they chose at the first sign of money trouble to cut and run, what ever happened to stay and fight, the principles our great nation was founded on! We are not a country of cowards, we are Americans, a country of winners! Well it's time for us to play catch up on neglected household duties, and dad must run to the store and get us more sweet corn and fresh fruits and veggies, that is the priority! It's good to hear from you. So sorry your mom was unable to finish the show, good thing your dad was able to. Glad that she has the new walker since if her legs are weak no need to worry about falling. Hopefully she'll be stronger for the next show and the one after. It's good to hear from you. Sorry about your mom's continuing health issues. The clot going down is good we assume? Hmmm, most people if they see someone with a walker/wheelchair they are more than willing to help them. Make sure your mom accepts all offers of assistance so she doesn't overdo or lift anything. She can be calm, right?
