George was a 'rescue' so to speak. His previous owner went off to college and was no longer able to give him the attention he needs. There were already three other birds here at home so one more was certainly welcome. Then my pair of cockatiels mated and now nine more birds have been added to the collective haha..

Active within 1631 Days Hi! My name is George I am a Blue-and-Gold Macaw from Phoenix, AZ. Georgie 7 years old M Blue-and-Gold Macaw Homemade corn bread muffins with chopped nuts and fruit. 1st choice is on my owners shoulder, 2nd is outside..I'm trying to learn to say 'da plane' when an airplane flys by. Unscrewing the bolts my toys hang from, screaming at my toys when they don't do what I want them to. My owner is patient with me..for the most part..when I get excited and start making way too much noise, but it's just my nature..after all I am a bird... so he will just have to deal with it! :) Chewing the plastic caps of 'Vitamin Water' bottles. I seem to be very specific to this brand for some reason.. It's all about me!.

Hello from Taffy! Hello and welcome to the BC! You are gorgeous! I am a rose breasted cockatoo. We just moved to Arizona. I was actually adopted in Mesa from Dalton Birds. Mom would like to start a bird club exclusively for Arizona. We notice there is not much support out there. We have had great friends that helped us. If we didn't have them where would we be?
