I'm off on my own!
Hi everyone, I want to thank you for all your wonderful comments.
As of 10:20am Monday June 15th I am a free bird! I flew strongly and landed in a tree near Carys's home, where I spent most of the day. We called back and forth a few times, so she knew that I was okay. Some adult crows came and found me; they're now teaching me the fine art of "how to be a crow".
I called to Carys on Tuesday as well, so she would know that I made it through the night. She took care of me for 2 weeks, and we'll never forget each other. I couldn't have made it without her! xxxxCome visit me, Buddie & Chico.

Hey Piper.
It's cool that we both have the same name! Are you into planes like my mommy and daddy are?? My daddy is a private corp jet pilot and has his own Cessna 185. I know I should of been named Cessna, but it just didn't fit me I guess. My mommy likes to fly too but just as a passenger. It's going to be fun flying and not having to flap a wing!! ...to the engagement party of Buddy (Male Blue Parakeet age 2) and Daisy Mae (Female Cockatiel age 1 one Dec 7th). This party will be held on January 5th, which is National Bird Day.
