 I came from a house hold where I lived in the 3 season porch all year long, which got really cold in the winter. I was terrorized by their cats, but I thankfully learned that hissing scared them away. When my old owner heard that my mommy had birds of her own, she gave me and all of my accessories to her. That was ten years ago now and I am so happy! No more cold, lonely winter nights or attacking cats!. |

I love lettuce, carrots, scrambled eggs, and quiona. I wish I could eat this all day, but mommy says I need to go on a diet.
 I love my powder coated landing in my cage, especially when my favorite mirror is next to it. Then I can admire myself all I want! I also enjoy being on my mom's shoulder, or hanging out on a playstand only to fly off and find mommy.
 I absolutly hate having my feet touched.
 She rubs my ears to relax me, which feels really good. She also helps me preen my head when I'm molting. Like most humans, she never can do it quite right--I sometimes am forced resort to my hemp and dice toy because she just can't figure out how to pet me properly. Us birds should set up a school so these clueless humans can learn to preen us properly!
 I like to "waddle" down on the floor to find my mom. I don't like to stay on my gym--it is so much more fun to play hide and seek! Unfortunatly this "waddling" is how I got her nickname, Penguin. Now, I don't have that short of legs!.

Boy do I ever understand about the cats!Been there. And I had 2 young boys to tease me too. But now I'm getting used to mom and being touched...I'm letting her pick me up now without biting her too. I'm real happy too even though Aramina is torturing me lately. She doesn't hurt me, but She does chase me off my perch. Stop and see my some time. I'm Dandy
