Not sure why I am mad at dad. He thinks it is from when he held me for a wing clipping last fall, but I would say he did worse than that...just can't remember. I am a sweet birdie, I just don't act the way he thinks I should. He came to visit today, and I would not come out of my cage for him...until my Aunt walked in, then I stepped up, so I am not ready to trust him again without a chaperone. So, your flockmate wants daddy? Awww, I bet mom gets jealous. Scratch says Hi. He, Xerxes, and I had a lil Poi Party yesterday, and we all had fun. Advice...mom loves to get advice.
Thanks for the good advice. Mom ordered my cage and it should come this week. She said the same thing as you about Tootles needing to see my cage before I come home. I don't know if I will like mom talking to Tootles first but I guess I will tolerate it...for now. he he he! The one thing I have over Tootles is the fact that I go to everyone in the family and Tootles only goes to mom. he he he! I get lots of loving from everyone not just mom since Tootles is a big ol' momma baby. he he he! Mom said you should tell your mommy she said "THANKS". She loves to get as much advice as she can. Mom said she has learned quite a bit from all the nice moms and dads on bird channel. I am counting down the days until I can come home. I am only 8 weeks old so mom said I have about another 6 weeks before I can come home. I cannot wait! I am going to love being spoiled every day and not just the days mom is allowed to come and visit. Well I must go back in my cubey. Squeak at ya later. I am too little to squawk yet...as a matter of fact, mom says I sound just like a cricket. What can I say...I am a baby? he he he! Yep, mom got me a baby senegal.
He hasn't come home yet but mom has already posted his pictures. Did you see his pictures? Mom said he will probably be home by no later than the end of June. Do you have any suggestions on how I should prepare myself for my new brother? I just thought I would ask since you are a senegal, too. he he he! Well I must go. Mom said it is time to eat. Had a little disaster yesterday when I landed on the vasa cage. Maude bit my foot!!! I am pretty sore today, and mom has to hand feed me again so I get enough to eat. I didn't lose my toe, though. Daddy is even staring to like me. I was hanging with him today, and he even petted me a whole bunch. I had to come visit you. Mom has been thinking about buying my human brother and sister a birdie just like you. I see you have an African Grey in your pictures so I figured you were the perfect birdie to visit and ask questions. I hope you don't mind me being beaky...but do you get along with your african grey brother/sister (sorry I don't know if you have a brother or sister)? Also if you have any children around you...do you like children? Mom had a senegal when she was a teenager but she became sick. Mom only has me now which I think is more than enough birdies. he he he! Do you think I would like having a senegal sibling? I do appreciate any input you can share with me. I hope I am not being too beaky. I see your mom or dad put a wet picture up of you. Mom put one under my pictures, too. Boy was I not too happy with her for that. I really don't like showers. Mom bought a couple 2 story condo's for us today. I moved into the penthouse of one today, and it seems my toys are more fun here. I have discovered my boing. Of course, it was because that pesky Harley had to come in and try it out first. Don't feel bad, Mom put up a wet picture of me too. I do like showers, as long as it is my way. Mom knows to hold me next to the water, and I put myself in as I feel comfortable. I am not so crazy about being upside down...that is Harley's thing, lol. I love to swing, the faster the better!!!! I do prefer to be on mom's chest or shoulder.
