I had a roommate that had a bird and when they moved out they took him with them. I didnt miss my roommates but I missed their bird so I went out and got my own McGyver. I had him for half of my life..

My name is In Loving Memory McGyver I am a Blue-Fronted Amazon from Jupiter Island, FL. 28 years old M Blue-Fronted Amazon peanuts, pasta I loved to sit on my swing with my head under my bell just close enough so that if I lifted my head I could make it ring. She did everything she could to save me. But I wanted to fly higher than I could here with her. He loved football. He would yell "Let's GO BROWNS" go go go get the ball !! He even cheered when we didnt have a team for 4 years.. He lived to be 22 years old. Blood transfusions and all the medicines could not save him. This picture was one of his last days alive. He will be missed by many..

Hi from Maxie the WonderBird! Thanks for visiting! Yes, nobody ever accused an Amazon of being quiet...lol...but although we're not quiet and not usually all that cuddly, we make up for it in other ways! In March when I moved in with my new human she sure lost her 'quiet life'...and I'm not all that bad for a Zon! I'm surprised to hear that the macaws aren't that loud-- I think I'll go visit their pages to check them out....Cya...
