 I adopted melly from someone who could no longer care for her. she lived with a goffins cockatoo who used to beat her up. she didnt even have a cage when i adopted her she just sat on a stand 24 hours a day. melly has come out of her shell and is now very friendly and sweet. You don't want to get on melly's bad side though. If she's not in the mood, watch out! she's very strong, aggressive and territorial at times, especially at night when it's past her bedtime. She loves attention now, and as long as you go slow and are aware of the warning signs, she will be your friend. |

Melly is a little sweetie (most of the time) and we love her very much. all of the birds i've seen so far on this site are beautiful and i'm glad to know they are all well cared for. there are so many babies who need homes and it's very sadCome visit me, squeaker & melody.

There are alot of girl ekkies on here and know you will find lots of friends too. I will be your friend too. My girl Padme is a pretty girl like you and she will be a good friend for you too. I got a bath today and the best part then was the blow drying of my feathers. That always feels so good. Mom plugged my perch back in today when she saw me on a few times. I even sat real still a minute or two cause it was warm on my feet. Give me another month and just might get on it even longer hihihi . The best and most beautiful things cannot be seen or even touched they must be felt with the heart and you my friend are definitely felt with my heart. My door is always open so stop in and brawk with me a while….I will leave the light on for you just like Motel 6 hihihi.
