 Well, here's the story. China is our original flock member. she's the one who started it all. Erica(my sister/ my mommy's daughter) reaaaallly wanted a bird, so she found a great breeder. brought China home. then my mommy decided she wanted a bird too. then she watched paulie and decided she wanted a conure. but when she saw alll the other types of conures there were she decided she wanted a green cheek. and it just so happens that the breeder China came from also breeds green cheeks. so.. they got me from the same breeder china came from. and my mommy even got a discount because the breeder knew I'd be going to a great home to be spoiled rotten (=.. |

KNOCKING OFF THE VOTE THINGY FOR YOU......Mommy and Daddy just got home from the Bird Fair...with GREAT toys and two new fids..We hear strange sounds from the other part of the house. Mom said something about Love Birds, I think.. Did U get back 2 Fla. yet?
Isabell, Sorry that we haven't gotten back to you, our Mommy has been sick but she is all better now. So are you here in Fla yet...the weather has been nice so far this Hurricane season, cross all wings and toes for it to stay that way. Sweetpea had a breakdown after Jeanne in 2004. She is getting better though she still bite's her feathers and mine. Gotta go have a nice day.Come visit me, Squeek & SWEETPEA ,,,.

A note from Sierra to all of her friends
I just wanted to stop by and wish all my friends here on Bird Channel a nice weekend. Today is a very special day for me and my Erin. We are celebrating my 1 year of coming to live with Erin!! We are so happy today! It's seems like Erin and I have been together forever, but yet we both can't believe this day is here. It was an uphill battle (guess mom named me right, Sierra means jagged mountain range.) Just to think a year ago I was afraid of everyone now I have nothing to fear, well almost. Erin says I have grown by leaps and bounds, this past month have have also decided its okay to let select people hold me. We both feel so triumphant! It's so wonderful to live a normal happy life. Today we shall celebrate with some birdie bread and new toys!! I can't wait to get the party started :) we will take pictures and post them at a later date. More About Me - Isabel
This is me -that wonderful Green Cheeker ! I have gotten more beautiful since my picture that you see. I have a darker beak and lotsa dark green on my face. I also have lotsa red and yellow- so much that I almost look like tie-dyed T shirt. I love to cuddle on my belly on mommy's neck for a quick 30 minute sleep in the morning. And I love to lay on my back in my mommy's and daddy's palm. And when I am happy I chirp and sing up a storm. Oh, and by the way, I can now say my name. I love humans. Special quirks about the yum yum bird, Isabel
This is Isabel. I do have some other strange quirks like picking my daddy's nose or trying to pull the hair our of his ears. And for a special treat I try to clean my daddy's teeth right after dinner - yum yum. But most of all, when I am really happy I sing my heart and lungs out when I am very happy and resting my chest on mommy's shoulder.
I am really really cute when I go to the bathroom too. Instead of running forward I run backwards, lift up my tail real high and then drop a present on the newspaper.
But most of all, I like hanging upside down and leaning my belly against my parents' faces and when they least suspect it - bite 'em in the face.Peter, Margate, FL.

My mommy tried to make me a profile but she didnt; know how to do it. so erica(china's mommy) made one for me. lots of pictures will be up later today. she's not on her home computer with the pictures right now. so she put up a picture of China because she filled out all the info and left the picture park blank and it said required and she didn't feel like waiting to type everything again.
