 I have wanted a bird for a long time, and finally convinced my bird phobic husband that he would be ok. I did a lot of research, and decided the greencheek conure would best fit our family. I found a breeder through the internet, who answered all of my questions.
I bought my newly hatched ysgc, got many pic updates via e-mail, and went to pick him up 10 wks later. After a little adjustment period, he is now the sweetest, cuddliest, little bird.. |

I am a Green-Cheeked Conure from Olathe, KS.

 Green-Cheeked Conure
grapes, raisins, apples, bananas, corn, English muffins
 on mommy's shoulder, of course
 large bouncy balls(I scream) and pill bottles (I will aggressively attack them!)
 She lets me ride around on her shoulder all the time, pets and cuddles me, buys me lots of toys, and loves me so much! With 4 kids in my house, I never get bored!
 When his cage gets covered at night, he says "peek a boo" until I peek in and tell him goodnight one last time! When I ask him a question, he says "OK". He loves to stick his head in a little paper towel tube and walk around his cage. He can barely see out and bumps into things...it is hilarious..
 "Let me out".
