 I went bird "shopping" one day. I knew I wanted a parrot, but wasn't sure what species. I had an idea, but not an exact species chosen. When I found him, he was with his 2 sisters. We were both interested in one another and before I knew it, he decided he needed to come home with me. I didn't have his cage or supplies so I left him at the breeder's until I could pick out his home and toys. About a week later and many visits with him at the breeder's store, he finally got to come home with me. I've been happily owned by an African Red-Belly ever since.. |

I am Xerxes. I am 2 months old, and I just flew in to Cleveland to meet my new mom today. I am tired, and it is scary to have all of this happen in just one day, but I will settle in and love this new home, I am sure. Thanks for stopping by my page....yes i do love zippers as well but my mom stops me because most of her zippers are metal and she doesn't want me to hurt my tounge. I also like to pick at her clothes and can put a hole in things fast. Tonight I was being a goober to my mommy while she set up my new toys picking at clothes and shoe laces hehehe. I caused her to take a lot more time setting up my cage this i know :P Mostly i am good though. Do you like to lay on your back in your mommys hand, I do I like to kick my feet and laugh and make tooting/beeping noises hehe i also did that tonight....Well i see you have a meyers parrot in the family so we are going to stop by....Come visit me, Sierra & Sam.

Hi there....you're quite the handsome boy. I'll be 8 in March. When I see something on the table I want, I put my beak on the table and go running for it. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. If anyone is eating something I want, every now and then, I run over and grab it and run across the table with it, then it's mine! I've never had pine nuts, but I looooove corn and mashed potatoes, and a LOT of other stuff. Come visit and see!Come visit me, Sunny.

Your a neat looking bird. I dont like my dad either. my moms two brothers are staying with us right now too. i dont care for them either. I just dont like anyone but my mom really. she rescued me and hten after 2 months we moved to new orleans. then she invited her brothers down to work with my dad. good thing she stays home all day with me so i get her to myself. well her and those stupid dogs. i do enjoy messing with the boys though. i let them pet me then i try to bite them. hehe.Come visit me, Chester.

We have red belly parrots as part of our flock, but they are girls. We miss the boys that have passed over the rainbow bridge. Our Mom has many birds that are older, and we sure do miss some that have passed on. We also have a Cape parrot as part of our flock.
The Meyers from your flock is very pretty too.
Where is Green Acres ? We are in Seattle, WA so I guess we are sort of neighbors.Come visit me, Zena, Jazmin--cape parrot, Stevie--Derbyan Parakeet, KODDI-Major Mitchell, Kory the Major Mitchell & Travey.
