We purchased our Sun Conure PJ first. When we got PJ, we didn't have a cage and were borrowing one. (Not very good one at that.) So we started looking on craigslist. We went to check out the cage and I felt sorry for Marly. Her previous owner told us his wife was making him get rid of her. She was very social and came right to both my husband and myself, of course favoring my husband! We are her third and forever home. She has a biting and aggression problem, but in the 8 months we have had her, she has gotten TONS better with the positive reinforcement training we have implemented with a special thanks to Barbara Heidenreich. Look her up, she is amazing!.

Active within 388 Days Hi! My name is Marly I am a Green-Cheeked Conure from Hutto, TX. Poops-A-Lot, Stalker Bird 6 years old F Green-Cheeked Conure Marly loves apples and mommy's homemade birdie bread! With daddy!!! People touching my cage while I am in it. Daddy loves to give me kisses. We do 5 kisses in a row and we both say "SWEEEET" together. He always knows when I'm tired and just wanna cuddle. So he'll lay his arm on the arm rest and wiggle his thumb, I come running and cuddle in the cup of his hand while he rubs my head. She stalks daddy! Every time he tries to go out to the back yard, she flies to him and will not let him go without her. If daddy does make it outside, she will fly to the door and hang there and beak at the door like she is knocking for daddy to come get her. On the weekends when we are home, her cage will be covered and she will peek under the bottom in the mornings and if we are still in bed, she lets out little chirps telling us it's time to get up.. .
