 *UPDATE* I am doing very well, I can do everything any other conure can! My leg still sticks out but it really doesnt bother me..after all thats all I know so it is normal to me! My vet says im the picture of good health and that I have great muscle tone in my wings!! So all in all ive grown up to be amazing according to mom!
Mom has a friend that breeds sun conures and I was born there. Im handicapped and need a good home with somebody who will love me no matter what when I get older, my mom fell in love with me and now when im weaned I will be coming to the WI flock. Keep me in your prayers, we are hoping I will be able to perch and walk but right now we don't know if that is possible. I have already had surgery on my leg once in hopes of making me able to move it.Please keep me in your thoughts!. |

We are just south of Green Bay, and we got TONS of snow, too! Mom just loves the stuff, as long as she has no where to go in it!
Have a great, snowy night! Mom said it's supposed to get dangerously cold tomorrow (-25 to -35F wind chills), so I know she will be inside all day by me!

That is the BEST news EVER mate- mum and I are soo happy for you and your mum. I can alomost hear her sigh of relief from all the way over here!! This morning my wild cousins came to the park for a visit. It was very early and I was still perching, but I couldn't resist screaming out a hello! Mum wasn't too impressed because I woke her up- she said "Jack- I am NOT a bird and I wanted to sleep in"....oooops, I forgot that she had a very late night! heeheehee. Sweet Jaxon and mom Tiffani. I am so glad to hear the good news. Wow what a relief to hear that Jaxon will be okay. What a fighter he is. Special needs birdies are very loving and they are fighters.
