 I got a job working in this bird store up north. She was left in a cage for weeks and never let out of her cage, before I worked there no one ever played with her either. Then I started to play with her and worked with her [ as she was a bit nippy ] and it was ever lasting LOVE from then on. I bought her and took her home . She turned out to be the best Cockatoo EVER !. |

Sly here. When we had Roxy, goffins cockatoo, she much preferred dad. Oh sure mom could do whatever she wanted but she was daddy's girl. Mom says there's a sweet goffins up for adoption right now. Betcha she gets her. Then you two could really squawk at each other. hehehe
Now, I can REALLY give Genesis some ideas about chasing dads. Yeah, I can corrupt him good. AWWWWWW MOM! Okay, I'm NOT allowed to. Oh well, I can sure take him around and introduce him to lots of the girls. I promise I won't get him into trouble....much. You can come too if you'd like.

Sly here. Well, thank you for the compliment. Mom says I'm a handsome boy but it's always nice to hear from other sources. hehehe I want you to know you are very lovely lady yourself. I agree that Genesis is quiet a good looking Grey too. You're pretty proud of him aren't you. I love my flock too. Yeah, I'm even getting used to my foster frother, Reggie. Mom just fixed up a bigger cage for him to enjoy and boy does he ever! I've been upset with mom for giving him all my toys, but he is so enjoying them. He's chewed up so many pieces today. Mom says I should start my chewing again since I've let my upper beak grow so long. I've been checking over my leather shoes. And cardboard boxes too. I might show Reggie what I can do. hehehe
Mom belongs to me and Kiwi owns dad. Reggie wants to own mom but she makes sure he knows I'm her main bird...well she says that I'm next to dad, but well, you know how that goes. Sly here. Welcome back to BC and here's another vote for you. Sure hope you fly by and meet the flock.
My finch fib, Punkin, is writing baseball stories and I wanted to give you her first story...well, part A anyway.
Here it is Baseball season once again and all the teams are working up and beginning play. I told her that I was so glad there wasn't a finch team. Start picturing it.... Here's Punkin at the plate.....YOU EXPECT ME TO PICK THAT UP?????....then she finally gets the bat up and it wavers terribly. The ball is pitched....Punkin is so glad that the catcher has such a big glove otherwise she and the ball would be gone. hehehe And THEN the B&G team is up to plate.....Here comes one sliding into base. HEY WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BASEMAN? Or maybe just TRYING to pitch a ball that is bigger than our whole body. hehehehe Oh I gotta stop, My sides are splitting. Anyway, we're going to the games and rooting for everyone. Maybe if it's really quiet you'll hear us.
