 A friend had too much to keep up with. She had brought Cherry up to her work and we got along well. She knew I wanted a Lorie and asked if I could take her. It was a very ruff decision for her, but I was thrilled and very thankful to her.. |

Nice to meet another lory, we have 3 at our house but we did lose our red lory in October and it made mom sad. She thinks we are the best type of birds. Sly here. WOW that sounds great! All that lovin is paying off! hahaha I get my extra pine nuts. But I know Mina would love the ice thing. She really goes crazy when she sees anyone eating a Popsicle. Kiwi too. But I just like a cube put in my water and I have a blast with it.

Sly here. Yeah, Mina has 2 eggs she's sitting on. And mom agrees that it's awful she didn't have a male. Mina is being such a good mommy too. Mom will go in to take shells out of the cage and Mina has to see what she took out and then run in and make sure mom didn't slip an egg out. It was funny to watch. Every time mom goes to get a pic of her sitting on the eggs out she comes and wants to be pet and get a treat. Which mom does give plenty of.
Want to let you know that this week is a busy week and mom has a cleaning job and stuff so won't be back on until Friday. Sly here. Oh yeah, I bet you could live off the pollen. hahaha To bad your mom is so bad off otherwise she could gather you some. Mom thinks some of her problem is because she has done janitorial work for to many years and is sensitive to chemicals. Of course, lots is allergies too. She's trying some new allergy med so hope that works for her. I do go around helping her sneeze and blow her nose tho.
Oh, did you hear that Mina has laid eggs? She's sitting on them although she doesn't have a mate. I think Louie is the reason. She loves to stare at his pic.

Well they say we learn something new every day so guess that is moms learning for today cause she didnt know that. She wrote it down and will look at it later and...thanks a lot for it too!! Really appreciate that. I got a bath today and then mom blow dried me and let me sit in the sun in the window for quite a while. Sunshine kept hiding though. Mom fixed my toys again so now I got new wood to chew off them again hihihi. Yeah, mom gets on the computer and I'll climb onto her lap and bite her belly or her arm until she stops and gives me pets. And if she's watching TV or reading I get as close to her face as I can...this time I chomped! She just wouldn't give me enough kisses. Who cares about cooking anyway? I'm happy to have fresh greens and fruit.
