My aunt had an African Grey, that I was facinated with. Months later I visited a bird store and fell in love with baby Bongo. The next day as the store opened, I called and put down a deposit. I went to visit and get acquainted until he was old enough to go home. I was told he was a boy, but now am told he is a girl. I still call Bongo a boy out of habit.. Awards

Hi! My name is CHIEF BONGO CARROO (I am an African Cape)

I am a Poicephalus from OSWEGO, IL.

10 years old   M

Bongo loves nuts, pea pods, and oranges.

Bongo loves to play on the Jaccuzi ledge before and after he takes a shower. He also likes to hang out in my bedroom.

Bongo hates it when I am holding him and talking on the cell phone. This usually results in a bite!

My owner spoils me with toys, attention and treats. I love to sit and get my beak scratched.

When I go to leave, bongo, often flies down off the perch and wants to go with me..

Give a bird all the attention they deserve..
