Carlos was sent from a breeder to a pet store in upstate new york. but upon arrival to syracuse intl airport. he was left on the tarmack for too long and it was freezing conditions. he was hypothermic and was driven to North country animal health center to exotics specialist David Plante. DVM. after a lengthy stay the pet store could no longer afford the billand donated him tothe vet hospital as a mascot. i worked at the vet clinic and grew attached to carlos and when it came time for me to go off to school, i brought carlos with me. so on a humid morning me and carlos hopped in my honda and drove 25 hours straight from watertown, ny, to Tulsa, ok. in less than 3 months we will load up again and move wherever the USCG sends us..

My name is Carlos I am a Blue-and-Gold Macaw from Claremore, OK. budgie 12 years old M Blue-and-Gold Macaw nutter butter cookies under the covers biting him (playingly) while hes sleeping then when he wakes up "argghhiing" like a pirate in his face. haha reassures himself by saying"its okay carlos". when in doubt say ok.

Hi Carlos-I am also a BIG fan of the Nutter Butters! My mom has been able to find the bite size at Wal-Mart and I LOVE those! They are just the right size and I get them all to myself. Mom usually buys herself the regular sized ones. As for pellets, I am a "Pretty Bird" fan. Mom gets me the Macaw (large) sized pellets and mixes a little fruit blend ZuPreem for a change of pace every once in a while. Come visit me, Crackers.	02/16/2007 03:57.38 PM	Report This Comment

Thanks for letting me know what kind of pellet, will look for them in the stores around here, I am in the Dallas area. If not will find them and order. I got last week Lafeber's Brand and the Scarlett likes them. Never heard of Harison. WalMart Brand has a granola type bar that is peanut butter and also a fruit and nut bar, and they like those.
