 At the end of January, My dog, Buddy, a cream coloured Retriever, had somehow caught a magpie. My dad brought in the mnagpie and I fell inlove with him. I took care of him for a few days then Dad took him in to the Wildlife Rehab centre. I was sad to see him go, but when he was all better, I was going to be allowed to set him free. That day never came. A week after he went to the Rehab centre, He had to be put down as he'd never be able to stand straight or fly. He was also haveing seisures. When I heard, I was really upset. Few days later, I looked on Kijiji.ca and found a untame Lovebird for sale for $70, includeing cage and everything. I talked to my Dad about it and eventually he gave in. :] on WEdnesday, Feb.11,2009, Dad picked him up and brought him home. He was missing some feathers as the people were trying to breed him with another lovebird, but the other was a male and kept fighting with him. Now, he's growing some feathers in and is a huge snuggler. He loves showers and the dogs. Couldn't be more happier :D. |
