I got Ouija from a bird sale. He isn't very friendly because he wasn't given much attention for the first 7 years of his life. The lady I got him from was selling his because she was a bird breeder, and he didn't want to breed (so she didn't want him). He had first been bought with another bird, but they found out that they were both males. So they seperated them, and she put him with a female. He wouldn't breed, so she was going to sell him. And that's why I bought him, I am trying to tame him but it's not going very well!.

Hi! My name is Ouija

I am an Orange-Fronted Conure from Little Canada, MN.

Oui Oui

15 years old   M

Orange-Fronted Conure

Peanuts, almonds and crackers.

His cage, and the top of other birds' cages.

Hands, other birds, or anything else in his cage, he is very territorial.

Instead of making kissing noises to give kisses, he pulls on the bars of his cage and then throws back his head (and you're supposed to do it too!).

  Hi from Punky and Karlie
I've had Punky for over two years and she's finally starting to trust me (as long as I'm patient). She was 6 years old when I got her and I'm her 3rd re-home. She's rewarded with a walnut when she steps up without biting and she loves walnuts so she's slowly getting better. Karlie I got from a baby and she's a sweetie for the most part. She can be nippy sometimes but then she gets put back in her cage, so that has behavior has decreased recently.

I love these little guys. They talk up a storm and keep me well entertained.

Come visit me, Rikki, Bailey, Karlie, Lucy & Punky.

  Hi From Taz
Ouija,
I have a "brother" that looks like you & in the same situation. Was in a breeder room for 4+ years until the owner gave him to my Shelli. I am not very friendly either, but I am trying.

You are very pretty!!!

Come visit me, Taz.

Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. We notice that she flies a little to get around her cage and can defiantly use a bigger one. Thank you; please visit her web site at www.1luckybird.com

Come visit me, Tweety, Frosty and Ringo.
