 After we first met, I spent 4 months convincing my prospective mom to take me home. I yelled, nipped, and gave her kisses everytime she came in, which was a lot! Then one day she started to leave me again, and I screamed "HELLOOOOOO" at her very loudly!! And guess what! She finally took me home!. |

Sly here. HAHAHA Yeah, I like to put my head down and see if dad will pet me. Then I like to try and get him too. We don't have any dogs or cats any more, but I was raised with them and when mom and dad lived with her father (I called him Mushface, thought that one up myself)he had a dog and I'd call her and give her lots of my food. Boy did she get FAT!! And I'd start barking just like her and she'd get in trouble. That was fun too. Oh, and I did nail her a couple of times too. Mom says that maybe that was part of the reason mushface started hating me. Oh well, who cares, I got mom!
We watch the food channel and mom keeps saying that she'd like to see if we'd like some of those things. HA!
And we watch bull riding too. That's fun because dad and I will say who is going to ride or not. If they fall we say "he didn't ride that bull" Dad and I have been doing that for a lot of years now.

Yes, I know how confusing Bird Channel can be for new members, I went through the same thing myself, I think I posted a bunch of responses to my own page instead of the visitor's pages...lol... Starburst here. I wish I was the leader of the flock but that title actually goes to the littlest of the flock: Jade. She does have a lilac "crown" so I guess she is the boss. Way to go! Telling your Mom you wanted her to stay with you! And now you got all the love and you can torture the dog and cats. I bit the toe of the cat, Johnny, I used to live with. He never bothered us birds again. And after moving to the mainland (I was hatched in Hawaii) Me and my fib, Princess, an umbrella, got to chase a new cat and a dog! After my now mom took me home I fed her father's dog. Kiwi chased her. So just a nip on the toes of the cats and tell the dog to go lay down and you know you're the boss....of course, it's more fun to have mom rescue us. Humans are so easy to train.
