Aidan saw me in a pet store, flew to me, and would not let me put him down. He immediately snuggled under my hair. I adopted Liadan from someone who had to give her up, and rescued Mo, Lari and Curly. Liadan and Aidan had 3 chicks, and so we have Spike, Chicklet and Aleta.. Awards

Hi! My name is Aidan Liadan Mo Curly Chicklet Spike and Aleta

I am a Cockatiel from Odenton, MD.

The whole flock is listed above. Aidan is "Daddy," Liadan is "Mama," Mo is "MoMo," CurlyQ, Spikerman, and Aleta is sometimes "baby bird," as he is the youngest. Chicklet is just Chicklet.

14 years old   M

MILLET!!!!! We also love bread, pasta, carrots, and "Just Peas."

Aidan likes to sit behind my head where he thinks he can get away with "air conditioning" my shirts. As a baby, he liked to get under my hair and snuggle against my neck. Spike and Chicklet like the play gym on top of the supply shelves, Mo and Aleta like to climb to the top of the gym on top of one of the cages. Liadan likes my left shoulder or my lap.

Aidan doesn't like to fly. Liadan flies so well, that even with her wings trimmed, she is dangerous. Spike and Aleta hate showers, Liadan and Curly are indifferent, and Chicklet and Mo are beginning to semi-tolerate them.

We love that she got us big cages and lets us play "musical cages" if we want to change our spot. She makes sure there are more food dishes than there are of us. She sends us to "camp" with a birdsitter that has a whole room just for us!! (Well, and her birds, too!)She tries to whistle for us, even though she's terrible at it. We like it better when she sings, because that sounds really pretty! She drives us up to see our grandparents, and we always have a sing-along in the car! Grandma likes the grandbirds from a distance, but Grandpa is fun to perch on. We love to preen his hairy chest, or help him with his hearing aids!

Liadan sits on my shoulder with her back to me, Mo likes to stick to her favorite perch, Aidan likes to poke holes in my shirts with his beak, Curly looks out for Mo, Spike is in lust with Chicklet, and Aleta follows Mo around slavishly..

"Sing. don't cry"
"Canta no llore"
