Hi Kipper Levalla here. Boy how sad. Yeah, people will tell you anything. When mom's father got Sly she said she would ask his other mom all sorts of questions when she needed to. And she did and still does although it isn't always about Sly now. When she took my cage I wasn't afraid. First time since I can remember I wasn't afraid. The ride made me worried and then mom covered part of my cage. I liked riding then....except the big bumps!! And FOOD! Real food. I'm not wolfing it down as much now. Mom said I only ate about a teaspoon today. hehe And she put a new perch in too. This is great! I didn't know what it was to be able to sing! Oh, I'm starting to make noises now too. Mom says now that I've started she may be sorry. hehe But I know she's happy. I sure am. Vet says that since I was an only bird and never exposed (that's the understatement) to other birdies that if I don't have problems in 2 weeks I'll be able to join the flock. WOW! I'll be able to meet Kiwi, Dandy and Sly who talk to me all the time. And mom says I have more fibs upstairs! I'm so excited! OOPS! gotta fly. v4u Thanks again for flying by all. Hi Kipper Kiwi here. Thanks for the kind words. And your experience with your lost flockmate. We know it had to have been harder for you because of how long you were together, especially your mom. Mom still tears up when she thinks of what Piemur must have gone thru before we got him. He was low in calcium too, his bones were losing calcium. So she knows he was not on a good diet before. So with all he had gone thru we figure stress just was to much for him. Mom wonders if she wouldn't have had to leave him there all day but had him with her while he was examined, if he would have fought harder to live. hey kipper yes I love to nip my mommy and then I laugh, I think its real funny but she doesnt. I will even tell my mom " dont bite me " because she always says that to me. I love to give her kisses also, so im not always nippy just sometimes to have alittle fun. I have a new girlfriend. She is very pretty , her name is Kanoni. Their is another bird in the house, they refer him as King Chewpea. He is not like Kanoni and I , he is a sun conure and he is not real fond of us but thats ok. Hi Kipper Kiwi here. Always warm? HA! It's windy here most of the time. Like today it's windy and overcast....and cool. It's supposed to snow on the mountain and rainy down here. Mom says that we do need the moisture. Oh boy! it's raining and dad should be home real soon. He teaches truck driving and in bad weather he gets to come home! Rain=Dad!!! Yeah mom would like to take our cages out and spray them off too, but she needs help getting them down the stairs so she has to clean them the hard way. Oh sure, Dandy and Mina has small cages, but Sly and I have real cages. If mom had the money needed she'd have big cages for Mina and Dandy, but not right now. But since their doors are only closed at night and we're always downstairs with mom and dad it doesn't make any difference. hehehe Well, I have to fly because it is our cage cleaning day too. v4u....fly by soon.
