  Bad Freddy..... ;-)
Winky dinky dooo....I say "bad freddy" and "freddy, freddy, freddy, (sigh) really well!; hahaha...and I still love to bite. In fact, I love to seee my Mom run away from me...I stalk her when I'm loose and try to bite those funny toes. I got her good today and sometimes LuLu even helps. So she's not so good as you would think! LOL = our mom is learning to recognize our body language really well but sometimes she forgets and turns her back or just isn't fast enough muahahahah...she has been feeding us some yummy stuff like pistachios, but peanuts are our favorite. WE dip the salted roasted ones in water to get the salt off and soften em up and we LOVE to take them from our mommie's finger through the cage. Funny...we know the different about biting. I am very gentle when I take food from her fingers and position my beak just so...Lulu is not as skilled...but I can get peanuts all day AND I can say "peanut" and when Mom says peanut, I go get one and show her and then run all around the cage top to bottom like a race track! That's both a trick and a workout! LOL Thanks for your votes cause I'm a CLEVER bird!

Come visit me, LuLu, Pye, Nanna & Freddy.

  hi Freddy
You're a very handsome birdy. I hope you learn to trust your owner. She must love you very much to have adopted you, so no more biting. I should talk. My mom sometimes calls me Bad Birdy when I bite her. She's even trying to teach me how to say it. But I refuse and just keep saying bye-bye instead.
Here's a vote. I hope you drop by again. I have corn flakes to share.

Come visit me, Einstein.

  Hey there Freddy!
I'm so glad the site is helping you and your Mom. My Mom understands what it's like to be afraid to trust people too- but she has learned how. And I really think you will- it sounds like your Mom is learning how to help you. Has your Mom talked with a vet about you? Not to be nosy- but I noticed you haven't gotten a lot of messages- maybe your Mom could browse the species profiles and message birds who were rescued. Their parronts would probably have a lot of good advice. Here's a big wing hug for ya, Freddy boy, and a vote too. Have a great day!

  Hi LuLu and Freddy
Here is a welcome to BC vote for you. Wow, I can't believe the other sennies have not come to welcome you guys. Maybe it is baseball. FYI, there is a BC baseball league here with 12 teams. Games are actually played using numbers. I think everyone is busy at Spring training. If you want to play, let me know, the senegals have 2 teams. Bye bye, Norman.

Come visit me, The Moocher Ducks, Norman, It has been fun. See you on YouPet, St Francis Chapel, Say a prayer today, Phoenix Base Fliers:Home of the 2013 World Champs & Jude, It has been fun. See you on YouPet.

  A rough day
Well, it was a rough Saturday for my owner again. She is really trying hard to deal with my lack of trust right now, but she says, she knows how it is. She finds it hard to trust people, too, she says. She says peoplel bite in their own ways. I don't quite get that, but I think she means she wants to trust them but then they hurt her! I just don't like my cage messed with and I have LuLu to look after as well. Lucky visited us and left his message and I agree with him. It's going to take a little while for me to feel comfortable with my new human, but I know she adores us. She is doing everything she can. I hope she will slow down and see that we just need some time. LuLu and I hope to give her some babies pretty soon. Maybe she can handraise them to her liking and they will make her happy, not that we don't, but I really hope to do something for my owner. Well, I hope her finger gets better soon. She's been giving us some really great peanuts to crack open, and LuLu really loves them, as do I. Also some of those great bananas that are crunchie, candied papaya and pineapple. So you see, she is trying hard to please us. Til next time...

Come visit me, LuLu, Pye, Nanna & Freddy.

  Hiya Freddy!
I'm so glad you were rescued. Probably you bite because your old owners didn't hold you much. Rescues need a lot of help, they tend to be very untrusting. I don't think you're bad, I think you're still scared and maybe confused. I'm a tiel, so I don't know a lot about Senegals, but maybe your Mom could talk with your vet or another bird authority to learn how to help you. There are a lot of rescue birds on this site- I'm sure they could be of help too. By the way, you're really cute. Here's a vote for you, and a biiiig birdie hug too. Feel free to fly by sometime and have a chat.

Bad Freddy & our owner, from my point of view
When Freddy tries to bite our owner, I now have to fuss at him. I scoot down to the feed dish and distract him while she tries to get it out of the cage. Freddy can be so mean sometimes. He wants food, but he can't leave his territory unattended. Our owner understands that, I think, so she gives him plenty of time and warning and room to get to the other side before she reaches in. He's doing a little better, but we've had a couple of serious spillages. Once it all went inside the cage and our owner wouldn't replace it and we had to eat from the floor. Once it went all over HER floor on the carpet and we had to fly down like dove and ground feed for a day. You see why we call him "baaaad Freddy." Even I've picked up the verbiage. Maybe if he has to eat off the ground like a chicken he will become embarrassed enough to behave himself and let us get our food dish filled.

Come visit me, LuLu, Pye, Nanna & Freddy.

I confess, I need some help. I have a new owner and she is so sweet to me. But I have bitten her badly, twice. How do I know it was bad, well, hehe, when she bleeds she spouts like a fountain! And screaaaammmmm! She screams louder then my cockatiel cousins in the next door cage when they're hungry. Well, I really did her ear in the other day...pierced three new holes for her, but she didn't appreciate it. She had to get antibiotics and almost stitches, too; and, the doctor said she might need a tetanus shot. That's why she calls me "baaaad Freddy." Amm I ashamed, well, maybe. I didn't often bite my other owners, but then they didn't handle me much. I really want to ride on my owner's shoulder, but she is a little afrraid of me now. What do I do to win back her trust? What can she do for me? I don't know. Help! True confessions of a lonely Senagal...

Come visit me, LuLu, Pye, Nanna & Freddy.
