 I had really wanted a bird for a long time, but all I could afford was a budgie. My mom has four birds that she got from a breeder, so she called and asked if she had any budgies. Lucky for me, they were really good friends and the breeder told me the next egg would be mine. On my birthday one of the breeder's pair of sun conures laid an egg. (there were six in all when she was done) And, lo and behold, my baby hatched on February 15, 2009.. |

Oh my god LONG TIME NO TYPE! Oh and just to tell you, I am going on vacation on Tuesday so I will not be able to log in on Birdchannel for one month and 5 days! I hope I will be able to say bye to my friends before I go. Just to tell you, this is NOT the last time I am going to type to you, I still have a few days left. :)

I am um.......20 days old. Yes, my mom is gorgeous. I plan on taking after her. Being the oldest chick isn't as fun as you think though. All my brothers and sisters are always on top of me!!! Aramina here. Thanks for flying by for a visit. Yeah, I know what you mean always being called 'cute'. That gets old, but it's better than some things that I get called. Mom calls me a stinker and sometimes even witch. If I didn't bite her so much maybe that would change, but it's so much fun!! I admit, I may get carried away and draw way to much blood. I NEVER hurt dad tho.
Mom is looking for a man to adopt me. She loves me, but she says she's tired of wearing bandages all the time. But she does love me. You should see all the great toys and FOOD she gives me. Gotta fly. Welcome to BC and here's your first vote. How exciting... much better than a budgie...oops, I got some of them for friends too. Anyway, that's great. I'm a quaker, but mom says that if they wouldn't have gotten me given to them then she was going after a sun for dad. WHEW!! I LOVE my dad. I love mom too...especially when she keeps that big bird, uh, Aramina, away from me!! Fly over and see the flock.
