Today mom talked to Rome's mom, apparently Rome is coming over to visit for a while, while his mom is going to run some quick errands. Can't wait! Not much going on other than that, so we are just preparing for a party. How are you doing? I do certainly hope well. Left a 'bye for now' vote for you.

Evening greetings! Look at you! You look so puffy when you get your head scratched! So cute. How are you doing Bing? How is Annie? Hoping well.
Now I know that I have been offline for a looonnngg time, and I apologize. Mom's work schedule is starting to lighten up. It is sure great to say that I will be online for a while for all I know.
Anyways, I really hope you are not mad at us for not being on here, we will surely make it up to you! Here in Delaware, it is really cloudy, and we have been having sprinkles of rain. The weather report suggests that we will have a cloudy, but sunny day tomorrow...we sure do hope.
Mom got new flowers in her garden. I am so stoked about the beautiful colors...they seem so tasty! Last week, dad was talking to mom and had me on his leg while he sat in the van, and I was totally in aw. When dad first sat down in the back of the van, I was scrambling all around, but finally I caught sight of mom and was so happy. I saw her dig a big hole in the dirty and set the flowers nicely in the dirt. I try and do it, (exept for the flower setting part) but I get in trouble...must be something about the dirt.
We here is a quick vote and vsiit for you today, its good to see you again buddy!! Rome says "hi." No literaly he just said "hi." Hehe!

Mom heard that amazons were unpredictable, dangerous, and very stubborn so she had no interest in getting one. But once she started fostering zons, she decided that we were nothing like she had heard. And now she's adopting me and is going to continue fostering unwanted zons like me. If people would only get to know us more we would be much more appreciated. Good thing me and you found people who understand us.
An outside play stand? That sounds like a lot of fun! Our weather is nice-ish but not nice enough to go outside.

I really apologize for me disappearing again. I feel like a terrible friend to do such a thing without informing you and the others. This thing WILL NOT happen again. I promise.
What is new with you? I love your profile pic.
Mom is still trying to get Rome and I's old pages back. I have missed you so much. We have been busy with family coming and going. The one bad thing that happened is that mom's dad died June 4, 2011. Mom could have used some birdie hugs from you all..as I tried to inform her, but she didn't want to, and I understood.
As you probably know, Maebell, my old little Green-Cheaked Conure fibling. She didn't work out with mom, and so we had to give her back. So I am STILL an only fild. I hope that you are doing well, I love you so much, and I am sorry. I hope you will forgive me :)

Dandelions (Taraxacum officinalis) - Member of the Daisy family. Flowers are sweetest when picked young. They have a sweet, honey-like flavor. Mature flowers are bitter. Dandelion buds are tastier than the flowers: best to pick these when they are very close to the ground, tightly bunched in the center, and about the size of a small gumball. Good raw or steamed. Also made into wine. Young leaves taste good steamed, or tossed in salads. When serving a rice dish use dandelion petals like confetti over the rice.
Day Lilies (Hemerocallis species) - Slightly sweet with a mild vegetable flavor, like sweet lettuce or melon. Their flavor is a combination of asparagus and zucchini. Chewable consistency. Some people think that different colored blossoms have different flavors. To use the surprisingly sweet petals in desserts, cut them away from the bitter white base of the flower. Also great to stuff like squash blossoms. Flowers look beautiful on composed salad platters or crowning a frosted cake. Sprinkle the large petals in a spring salad. In the spring, gather shoots two or three inches tall and use as a substitute for asparagus.

Greetings, left a vote. I had an amazing time with Rome yesterday. We had a lot of walnuts, and I had our very first time trying meat (thanks to BC friend Kiddo, LOL). Also yesterday morning, before Rome and Wendy came over, mom taught me how to lift my foot. I was excited to finally learn something so I couldn't stop doing it.
