Hi Sunshine!
Yep, Mom is always telling me that this and that is healthy for me, too. How can something that tastes bad be good for my health? Mom is trying something new. she got some frozen mixed veggies and is thawing some for me. Then she's going to chop them up into even smaller pieces for me. She read somewhere that sometimes birds don't like to eat big pieces of food. So we'll see, maybe she's on to something here. I would love to find new yummy stuff, I just don't like this vegetable angle. But Mom is bound and determined to find some way to get me to eat them. Have a great day, Sunny. Hi Sunshine!
Isn't it cute? I'm learning to sing it, so Mom plays it a lot for me. The budgies are the best part. There's nothing like nom noms- especially if they're orange flavor. Mom tried to give me sweet potatoes today. It was baby food. She heated a little up for me and gave it to me, and I was like "get this outta my beak". Mom was astonished. she says it's a really popular bird treat. She says all the birds are eating it, but what do I care? I didn't like it. Heehee, I'm so picky, I make Mom nuts. Heehee, my Dad never sings to me- because he's completely tone deaf. But that's okay, as long as Mom does. Talking and cuddling is great too. I'm learning a new song! It's called the "Cute Animals Eating Anthem". aka "nom nom nom nom nom nom nom". Mom found the video on cuteoverload.

My Gramma has had a few rescue dogs whose names she changed for the same reason's Beau's was changed. It's a good idea. You're parronts sound very thoughtful. I had a great evening. Mom and I played, and I got Tasty twigs, and Mom sang me an extra lullaby when she put me to bed. She sings to the dog, too. Actually she sings to both of us a lot. She says she sings to me more than I sing to her. Heehee, I think that might be true. I love her lullabies! She sings love songs to me and the dog too. I just cuddle up to her and lay my head on her chest and ahhhh, it feels so snug and warm. Parronts are the best! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, my friend, and have a lot of fun. Hey, Beau is my middle name. Mom picked it because I think I'm her beau, heehee. I am a very dusty bird. Mom actually has to dust the walls down! I have this great CD called "Singing Birds" The birdsong is set to this relaxing music. I like to sing back to the birds on it. mom wants me to dance when she plays her music, but I only dance when the music's off. I dance on Mom's hand and whack at her thumbnail with my beak. Sometimes I swirl my head around in circles too. Mom and Dad get a big laugh out of that. They call it dizzy bird. Have a great day, Sunny! V4UCome visit me, Lucky. . . My mom says she loves the way I sing so prettily to my mate. She should know the song wasn't meant for her, the eavesdropper! She wants to buy us a bigger cage, so we are waiting to see if she does. We have a big one already, but mom says she wants us to have lots of room since we don't like to come out...I'll do it grudgingly, but Cinnamon refuses. Punkin here. You don't know how friendly I can be. hehe I fly over and visit Sly our grey, in his cage when I get picked on. He is so nice to me, lets me go and do what I want in his food or on his perches. Kiwi is even nice to me, but not as nice as Sly. And Dandy is my bud. One night mom was letting him stay up late and I flew downstairs to check and make sure everything was okay. Mom carried me up and told me she'd bring the boys right up and for me to be careful flying that far. And she did bring them up right then. I do get my way! (taking lessons?) fly by again when you can.
