I sure hope your poor mom feels better soon!! That must really suck!!!
Well I have some good news!! They FINALLY figured out what's been bothering me!!!! Red Mites!!!! My mom finally caught one on my feather today while we were on our way to the vets and he said that we were so lucky my mom found one.. So it's been red mites the whole time and thats what my mom kept telling them but they wouldn't listen.. They said there was no way I could get them. Well I showed them!!!! hee hee! So my mom went and bought Sevin powder and spray to use on me and the house and cage. So I should be back to my normal self in a few days!! YAHOO!!! I can't wait to start feeling better and not ITCHY!!!!!!

HI MAC DADDY
Sorry it's takin me so long to write back.. So how have you been?? I've been doing ok but I've been battling some sort of skin problem for 5 months and alot of money later and my mom finally thinks she might have it figured out!!! Yesterday while I was outside, she seen a red dot on my feather so she removed it and IT MOVED!!! Then she seen another one!! So she really thinks it's red mites and thats what she's been telling the vets but they kept insisting it was self mutalation but she knew it wasn't that!! So now she has to try and catch another one so she can take it to my vet on saturday so they can figure out what kind of bug it is so I can get the right kind of meds to get rid of them..
I'm so glad she finally seen something so I can start feeling better soon!! I'm sure I'm anemic to from all the blood loss so now my mom is trying to figure out what she can give me to help with that....
So thats whats going on here..
My little brother Chewy was wondering what happened to you because he says you haven't written to him in a while. I hope everything is ok..

i hope that we can play soon too. i have 2 other brothers. there is rocky he is a 9 year old molucann cockatoo and then theres bobo hes less than a year old african grey. they have their own separate page. i can give you their page number if you want to meet them.

what happens
