Newton was my first bird. I had done a bunch of research and decided on a cockatiel, and found him for sale from a "breeeder" on craigslist. It turned out to be a house full of birds and rodents in cages with a floor that seemed to be covered with newspapers and sawdust. I fell in love with him so fast that I started learning everything and everything I could to provide the best possible life for him.. Awards

Hi! My name is Newton

I am a Pied Mutation Cockatiel from Maple Valley, WA.

9 years old   M

Pied Mutation Cockatiel

Sunflower seeds, (but I only when Mom's trying to teach me something) rice, noodles, carrots, and the cooked diets Mom makes for us.

The shower, Mom's shoulder, or my "Wacky Wood" perch that wiggles when I'm on it.

Archie (a keet) acting like an annoying little brother, who doesn't leave him alone and calls his bluff whenever Newton tries to act aggressive and get him to go away

She has hair that is fun to preen and play with.

He absolutely LOVES the black elastic hair bands (without metal, of course) and will play tug-of-war forever..

"It's MINE!".

  Hey Newton
I have a flock mate that looks just like you, his name is Peanut, he doesn't play with me much, he likes to sit on a picture on the wall. Thanks for visiting!
