We'll miss you Zoey Yesterday we lost one of our dearest bird friends. His name was Zoey and he was a delightful Zebra Finch. We will miss his wonderful personality and high energy. He was always the first one awake and would announce the morning with his funny little beep beep singing. His buddy Chico is so sad today. They were closer than two birds could ever be. Zoey was a mostly white bird with beautiful gray accent colorings and of course his orange beak. We planted some white pansies in the garden yesterday in memory of our dear, dear friend. The Sun is Shining! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Right now the sun is out and it is not raining. We have had rain everyday for more than a week and it feels good to see the warm sunshine. I love to sit on the cafe curtain rod and look outside. Mmmmmm. hello Wiggles Our flock is very sad to hear about Fauna's passing... she was such a sweet little bird. I am always so sad to lose a flock member... As for you Wiggles, you sure are pretty. That is a very distinct grey look in your eyes! My name is Grendel and I am also a bit grey on the outside... your name rhymes with Giggle! Our Giggle is a green cheek potato and I will often talk to him throughout the day... Giggle calls himself a Giggle Snot, but I usually call him Giggle Green.... Anyway, hope you and your flock are doing well. Sad Day Today we lost one of our bird friends. Her name was Fauna and she was a Zebra Finch. I won't go into the details but we adopted her many years ago from someone who just didn't want her because they thought she was too noisy. Well we didn't think so. It was just the way she expressed herself. She was a sweet girl and we will miss her. She will be laid to rest outside among our other feathered friends who have passed on. Hi from Suzie Thanks for visiting me. Yep, I think I'm on the team because I can fly really well :) I'm being a bit of a brat lately. Whenever mom tries to put me back in my cage, I fly off somewhere else. She ends up chasing me all over the house :) :) But the downside is, I can't go outside except in a carrier or cage.
