We met at the store and we bonded instantly. We wanted to be sure about our decision so left without purchasing her right away. When we returned the third time and saw she was not in the store, we figured it was not the time or the right bird for us...BUT... She wasn't feeling good and the vet had her moved to the back room where it was more quiet. We continued to visit often while she was recuperating and grew to love her more every visit. Once she got the OK, we were able to take her home and she continues to thrive!. Awards

  `Ü´ Greetings & Good Evening
Miss Molly, Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe!

*Ruby attempts (unsuccessfully) to stifle a **GiGGle** as The Girls demonstrate such wonderful royal decorum as they enter The Throne Room to offer their gifts and Congratulations to The New Queen. (Ruby is still having a bit of a difficult time wrapping her birdie brain around the idea that SHE is The New Queen!) And then, this Lovely Fisterly Threesome W-A-V-E at Ruby from the far end of the Hall.

Ruby quickly motions to them to come forward, and without hesitation The Queen calls for a ((((Group HUG)))). Then all four LadyBirds **GiGGle** together at the formality they are trying to maintain in the midst of just wanting to *D*a*n*c*e*!

Ruby sends Cookie back to the Reception Table to retrieve the nuts so that they can all have a snack together.*

LadyBirds, below is my "official" Thank You note for the part you most graciously played in my being voted BirdChannel's December Bird of the Month. But I am SO very eggscited to now be able to stay and visit for a spell with my Featheriends, rather than having to rush hither and yon, more concerned about quantity than quality. I am eagerly looking forward to a more relaxed time together each time we visit ... and THIS is a VERY relaxed way to greet Your New Queen, wouldn't you say? **TeeHee**

`Ü´ Greetings & My Humble Appreciation
To you, Miss Molly, Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe, My Wonderful New Featheriends, who have so graciously, lovingly, and steadfastly supported this Green-Winged GRITS GirlBird’s Quest for the BirdChannel Bird of the Month Crown, I offer my truly humble thanks.

A quest such as this one simply cannot be achieved solely through one’s own efforts. By its very nature, it requires the active, ongoing participation of an entire cast of support. And YOU, My Featheriends, have risen to the occasion in a most wonderful way! Both Momma and I have been overwhelmed by the result you have produced for us.

You are to be commended and, again, thanked for your continued patience and understanding of the many gaps in my ability to repay your kindnesses on a regular basis because of circumstances that have arisen throughout the month of my Campaign. It has been an ever present comfort to know that you have been so constant in your loyal visiting and voting to make my current standing as Your Queen possible.

It was my intention to have a Focus on FootBall as a theme for the month of November be both Fun and Informative; and, perhaps, help you enjoy the Game in a different way than before through learning more about the sport. My fondest desire is that we have accomplished that purpose with the most important part of the Season at hand.

And speaking of FootBall, I wish to offer my **C*O*N*G*R*A*T*U*L*A*T*I*O*N*S** to the [Indian] Braves who won the 2014-3rd Annual Milonga Thanksgiving Bowl, with a final score of 21-17 over the Pilgrims. It was an eggsciting Game! And everybirdy who participated, as either a Player or CheerLeader is to be Congratulated on putting forth their very best effort, and making it a thoroughly enjoyable evening for those of us who participated as Spectators. Special Thanks are to be sent out to the Milonga Thanksgiving Bowl Announcer, Miss Pam (who provided the eggscellent Play-by-Play on her BirthDay!), Team Captains Kiddo and Taz, and Cheer Squad Captains Chyna and Falco.

My intention as your Christmas Queen is that the FuN continues throughout my Reign, and that as we bring 2014 to its conclusion, we may all look back fondly and with great appreciation for all the wonderful times we have created together here on the BirdChannel, and for those who made it all possible for us.

I shall be looking forward, eggscitedly, to seeing you and each and every one of My Wonderful Featheriends in the days to come.

A bientot, mes amies

`Ü´ Are you ready for some FOOT~BALL???
A 3rd Annual Milonga Thanksgiving Bowl Game of … FOOT~BALL???

This evening … to be played on the Milonga Page (#165848)

8:00 pm Eastern
7:00 pm Central
6:00 pm Mountain
5:00 pm Pacific
4:00 pm Aleutian

Jake <Ö) may have been a “BAD Parrot”, but he says it well: “Be there or BE SQUARE!!!”

Well, the Defense still needs to know their jobs, so without any further delay, let’s get started with the Job Descriptions, Miss Molly, Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe!

Strong Safety – Generally lines up in the secondary*, but often aligns close to the line of scrimmage In most Defenses this Player lines up over the Tight End and is responsible for both playing the pass and supporting the run.

Free Safety – Lines up deepest in the secondary. He defends the deep middle of the field and seldom has man-to-man** responsibilities. A coach wants this Player free to read the QuarterBack and take the proper angle to break up or intercept any forward pass thrown over the middle or deep to the sidelines.

Defensive Back – A member of the Defensive secondary. Defensive Backs form the line of Defense whose job is to prevent Receivers from making catches and then gaining lots of yards after the catch.

CornerBack – Lines up on one of the wide sides of the field, usually opposite an offensive Receiver. Called a CornerBack because he is isolated on the “corner” edge of the Defensive alignment.

Defensive End – Lines up at the end of the Defensive line. The job of the Defensive End is to contain the Running Back on running plays to the outside, and rush the QuarterBack*** on passing plays.

Defensive Tackle – Lines up on the interior of the Defensive line. The duties of a Defensive Tackle include stopping the Running Back on running plays, getting pressure up the middle on passing plays, and occupying Blockers so the LineBackers can roam free.

LineBacker – Lines up behind the Defensive linemen and in front of the Defensive backfield. The LineBackers are a Team's second line of Defense. Each Team has two outside LineBackers.

Nose Tackle – a Defensive Tackle who lines up directly across from the Center. Also known as the Nose Guard, the primary responsibilities of the Nose Tackle are to stop the run and occupy the Offensive lineman to keep them from blocking the LineBackers.

It seems to me that it is MUCH more complicated to try to understand Defense than it is Offense! (But then again, I am a simple GRITS GirlBird, and unaccustomed to such strategizing. We are more frequently seen serving snacks and refreshments during FootBall Games. **TeeHee**) The drawings I have to support today’s information on the Defense eggsplain more of where Defensive Players can line up. The eggsecution of Defensive plays is much more involved than I could ever hope to delve into in this format. I suppose that means that the Defensive Players on the Teams in the Milonga Thanksgiving Bowl have a lot of improvising to look forward to during the Game!

It is my sincere desire that the information on both the Offensive and Defensive Squads has served to make your spectator participation in the Game of FootBall more enjoyable, and that it has been a help in preparing the Players for the Milonga Thanksgiving Bowl. It has been an honor and a privilege to research and present what I could find to give you more pleasure in The Game.

*secondary—the Defensive players who line up behind the LineBackers and wide on the corners of the field opposite the receivers and defend the pass. These defensive players, who are called Defensive Backs, are separated into Safeties, CornerBacks, and, occasionally, Nickel Backs (an eggstra Defensive Back who is used in some Defensive Formations).

**man-to-man [coverage]—pass coverage in which every potential Offensive Receiver is assigned to a particular Defender Each Defensive Player must stick to his Receiver like glue and make sure he doesn’t catch a pass thrown in his direction.

***rush the QuarterBack—use whatever moves the Player has to get a sack, or disrupt the throw.

  `Ü´ Greetings & A Happy Day After
Thanksgiving to you Miss Molly, Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe! I do hope your Thanksgiving was one of contemplation and appreciation for all the blessings you share with your flockily, as well as loving time together to celebrate all of those blessings.

As I mentioned several days ago, my momma and daddy were blessed with not only the very first Holiday Celebration (or celebration of any event or holiday) with EVERYone in daddy’s family being present, but also a several day long visit with my Grandma beforehand, and a couple of days to come still with my Uncle.

As a result, I have not been able to visit as regularly as I otherwise would have. But parrotsonally, I did use the contemplations of the Holiday to count the many featheriendship blessings that I’ve had in the process of this Quest for the Bird of the Month Crown that I’ve been on this month, AND the love and support you’ve all shown me in that effort. And I eggstend my most heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.

For today I thought I would lighten the spirit of the Campaign and share a funny story. We will, however, finish up with our FootBall information before the month is out.

This is a story that I “made up” about my frother Jake. The originally disguised parrot’s identity was changed to reveal Jake’s NON-innocence. **GiGGle**

BAD Jake <Ö)

Jake joined The K Kritter Korral as the first Blue-and-Gold Macaw after fister Rosalie made her Journey to The Rainbow Bridge. He had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary.

Every word out of his beak was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. Momma tried and tried to change his attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else she could think of to clean up his vocabulary.

Finally, Momma was fed up and she yelled at Jake <Ö). Jake <Ö), of course, yelled back. Momma shook him and he got angrier and even more rude. In desperation, Momma threw up her hands, grabbed Jake <Ö) and put him in the freezer.

For a few minutes Jake <Ö) squawked and kicked and screamed. (And Jake <Ö) screams LIKE A GIRL! **TeeHee**.) Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a sound was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that she had hurt him, Momma quickly opened the door to the freezer. Jake <Ö) calmly stepped out onto Momma’s outstretched hand and said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I am sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

Momma was absolutely stunned at the change in Jake’s <Ö) attitude.

As she was about to ask Jake <Ö) what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, he spoke up, very softly, and asked … "May I ask what the turkey did?"

`Ü´ Greetings & A Lovely Monday to You
Miss Molly, Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe!

I do hope that your Saturday and Sunday were full of fun and productivity. I know in my case I had to relinquish Momma’s eggsclusive attention and assistance on my Campaign to be your December Bird of the Month to more pressing parrontal matters around our K Kritter Korral. (The portion of Sunday during which Momma was available to bring me to your page for a visit, the BirdChannel was not cooperating. You might say that their GPS was out of order! **TeeHee**)

You see, Momma and Daddy were informed that they could eggspect a visit from my Grandma from Idaho from later today, to last thru Thursday morning when they all gather at Daddy’s youngest brother’s home about an hour away from us for the first Family Celebration with everyone present since Momma and Daddy have known each other. Grandma was eager to be able to spend time here with Momma and Daddy, and all of us fids of course, before joining the rest of the family for a concurrent Celebration of Thanksgiving and her BirthDay on Thursday! Then she will remain with my Uncle and his family until she returns to her home in Idaho later in the week, while my other Uncle comes to pay us a visit over the long weekend.

So, all of this is to say that my visits may be a bit sporadic from now thru the end of the month, due to Grandma’s visit, the Holiday weekend with my Uncle visiting, and the upcoming Milonga Thanksgiving Bowl Game. I do apologize in advance for any visits I shall have to forego. But rest assured that I shall continue to do my utmost to bring you the maximum amount of FootBall information in the time we have left together.

And on that note, let us get straight to the information I’ve promised you next about the Offensive Squad on a FootBall team …

Let’s begin our eggsamination of the individual Positions on the Offensive Squad.

QuarterBack – The Player who usually receives the ball from the Center at the start of each play. He informs his TeamMates in the huddle of the play that will be run and then, after the Center snaps* the ball to him, either hands the ball to a Running Back or throws to a Receiver.

Center – The Player who hikes (or snaps) the ball to the QuarterBack at the start of each play. The term comes from the fact that this Player is flanked on either side by a Guard and a Tackle; he’s the “MiddleMan” (or Center) in a contingent of five Offensive LineMen or Blockers. He handles the ball on every play and also snaps the ball to the Punter and Holder.

Guard – There are two Guards on every play, and they line up on either side of the Offensive Center. The Guards protect the QuarterBack from an Inside Rusher; they block Defenders immediately across from them and also swing out, or pull**, and run toward either end [of the line] to block any Defender when the ball carrier runs wide°.

Come visit me, `Ü´ Ruby Francesca Begonia.

Tackle – Both Offensive and Defensive, on Offense they are Outside Blockers on the line of scrimmage°°.

Tight End – Serves as a BIG Receiver [Oh MY!] and also a Blocker. Unlike a Wide Receiver, this Player generally lines up beside the Offensive Tackle either to the right or to the left of the QuarterBack. (Also “Strong Side+”)

Wide Receiver – The Player who uses his speed and quickness to elude Defenders and catch the FootBall, but who isn’t primarily a Blocker. Wide Receivers are also known as “pass catchers” [but I-I-I would parrotsonally NOT disparage one so!]. Also called a WideOut.

Running Back – A Player who runs with the FootBall. Running Backs are also referred to as TailBacks and HalfBacks, depending on their exact responsibilities and alignment.

FullBack – A Player who lines up in the Offensive backfield++ and generally is responsible for blocking for the Running Back and pass-blocking to protect the QuarterBack. FullBacks also serve as short-yardage runners.

I would also like to call your attention to a display of several of the basic Offensive Formations which appear in the Gallery at the bottom of my page. (They also appear in my Profile Picture at the top of my page; but they are much clearer and contain eggsplanatory text in the photos in the Gallery.) I hope these are of use to you in recognizing some of what happens on the actual field of play the next time you watch a FootBall Game.

I am also including several definitions of terms used in the above Position Descriptions at the end of this note.

Have a Greyt Day! Perhaps enjoy watching The Jets play The Bills at 7:00 pm on CBS, or The Ravens play at The Saints at 8:30 pm on ESPN. Both times are EST. Remember, it is virtually illegal to watch a FootBall Game quietly. So do what we Avians are most well-known for doing … **S*Q*U*A*W*K** . **I*T** . **U*P** ! ! !

À la prochen frois, mes amies,
[Until next time, My Featheriends]
`Ü´ Ruby Francesca Beongia ♥

*snap—the action in which the ball in handed or hiked by the Center to the QuarterBack, to the Holder on a kick attempt, or to the Punter.
**pull—when a player leaves one area of the field, generally moving back and then over, to block in an area other than his normal position.
°run wide
°°line of scrimmage—the imaginary boundary between the two teams prior to the snap of the ball. The Offense’s and Defense’s scrimmage lines are defined by the tip of the ball closest to them and stretch from sideline to sideline. The Defensive Team usually lines up less than a yard away from where the ball is placed.
+strong side—the side of the Offensive formation where the Tight End aligns. With a right-handed QuarterBack, the strong side is usually to his right side.
++backfield—the group of Offensive Players (the Running Backs and QuarterBack) who line up behind the line of scrimmage (vs the Offensive LineMen and/or Receivers who line up at the line of scrimmage).

`Ü´ Greetings & OH! MY!! GOODness!!!
Miss Molly, Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe!

Does anybirdy ELSE realize how much there is to KNOW about FootBall??? Why … I had no idea how much I DIDN’T KNOW until Momma consented to help me learn for the sake of my Quest for the Bird of the Month Crown, and sharing her passion for The Game so that I might understand all of the HoopLa that I hear coming from the area of the television every time she watches a Game!!

Well! As promised, we shall begin our investigation into the individual responsibilities of the Players in each Position today. But I fear it will never fit into one day’s note. So we shall simply spread it out over several days so that you, My Featheriends, can take it all in and not fall asleep before you learn what you need to know!

You may recall from our earlier information that the NFL limits active, uniformed Players to 45 per Team on Game Day.

Each FootBall Team has 11 Players per side: 11 on Offense and 11 on Defense. Teams are allowed to play with fewer than 11 Players (and for the LIFE of me I can’t IMAGINE WHY they would WANT to???), but they are penalized for having more than 11 Players on the Field during play. Rarely, a few eggsceptionally talented Players may play both Offense and Defense in the NFL. (And I do believe that we have a few of those eggsceptionally talented Birdie FootBall Players on the Indians and Pilgrims Team Rosters!)

A typical NFL Game Day roster includes three QuarterBacks, a Punter, a PlaceKicker, a Kick Return Specialist, eight Offensive LineMen, four Running Backs, five Receivers, two Tight Ends, seven Defensive LineMen, seven LineBackers, and six Defensive Backs. (The NONSTARTING Players – that is, those who are not among the 22 or so Players who are listed in the Starting LineUp – are considered Reserves, and many of them are Specialists.)

In the NFL, an additional Player can be in uniform, but he must be a QuarterBack and enter the Game only after the other QuarterBacks have been removed from the Game because of injury. When this eggstra QuarterBack, or 46th Player, enters the Game, the other QuarterBacks are deemed ineligible and cannot return to that Game even if they are healthy.

With our very own 3rd Annual Milonga Thanksgiving Bowl Game approaching in a little over a week, and Players needing and wanting to know how to practice to yield the most effective results, when we next meet I shall delve into the individual Positions on the Offensive Squad.

Before I depart this evening, though, I do wish to thank you, once again, for your wonderful continuing support of my efforts to be your Christmas Queen on BirdChannel. I am truly beginning to feel the eggscitement of the prospect of having my dream realized. You and your featheriendship are appreciated more than you know.

  `Ü´ Greetings & Good Evening
Miss Molly, Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe!

I am flitting by this evening for a very short visit to share with you a little bit of the great fun I had this Tuesday past presenting a program with Momma for The Sylvan Seniors at Mt Sylvan United Methodist Church in Durham, where Momma and Daddy attend. (They do not attend the s-e-n-i-o-r-s functions. **TeeHee** They attend CHURCH there.)

Momma and I were given half an hour to address the group, to share what Life with a Parrot is like, for most of them had never had an eggsperience with a companion parrot; particularly not one of my size! When we have a program like that, Momma usually starts out by eggsplaining how she and Daddy came to start a flock like the K Kritter Korral, and how it grew; and then, through sheer human curiosity, we have a wonderful conversation about what all is entailed in living with a parrot (or parrotS). Of course, I-I-I contribute greatly to program content; this time including a stroll back and forth in front of the front row at one point, for emphasis of the subject matter at hand. (At just the right point in time I climbed down off my play stand and let Momma know I had something to add. **GRiN**)

When our time for the presentation was over, the group had some lunch together. I was given my fill of some lovely white grapes by a number of brave ladies and gentlemen, and then several of them wanted to have their picture taken with me. In my Gallery at the bottom of my page you can see just a couple of the lovely folks I visited with parrotsonally.

I shall return with those promised eggsplanations of the positions of the players on a FootBall team when next I visit.

  `Ü´ Greetings & Happy Sunday
Miss Molly, Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe!

It would seem that most of North America is in the middle of an early onset of Winter, wouldn’t it? There are those FootBall Fans who would call this REAL FootBall Weather! And in view of the “chill” in the air, I am bringing mugs of Hot Cocoa (with marshmallows, if you like) for us to enjoy during my visit today. But this is what I would like to inquire of you: Is this weather inspiring everybirdy to prepare for the upcoming 3rd ANNUAL MILONGA THANKSGIVING BOWL GAME??? **Tee Hee**

Today I am deviating a bit from the previous path of information about the NFL in order to address two questions that were presented by several birdies regarding my last note.

First, a number of you asked if the entire building at 345 Park Avenue in New York City was occupied by the offices of the NFL. Well … no. For an inside look at the Ted Moudis Associates designed NFL headquarters, home to the employees that help power our favorite sport, I direct your attention to the Gallery at the bottom of my Profile Page. The modern, multi-level office space is located, as I mentioned in my last note, at 345 Park Avenue in Lower Manhattan, and was designed by TMA with the goal to “carry its strong brand identity throughout the design.” The office includes a League Room for the owners of our favorite franchises to hold meetings, employee cafeteria complete with kitchen along with an employee store, fitness center for staying in shape with lockers and showers, and a whole lot more. The 4 main floors of the office building were designed to represent the “Four Pillars” of the National Football League, which include The Game, The Teams, The Fans, and of course The Innovation. The 5th floor of the building houses the Officiating Command Center, and the 6th floor includes multiple outdoor terrace areas.

Other current tenants include The Blackstone Group, Consulate General of Ireland, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Capital Trust, Deutsche Bank, KPMG, and Piper Jaffray.

Secondly, several birdies were curious about who the three “pre-NFL/AFL-merger” teams were. As nearly as I can discern, those teams were the AAFC Teams the Cleveland Browns, the San Francisco 49ers, and the original version of the Baltimore Colts.

Since its inception in 1920, the NFL fended off several rival leagues. Before 1960, the most important rival was the All-America Football Conference (AAFC), which began play in 1946. The AAFC differed from the NFL in several ways, and the AAFC's perennial champions—the Cleveland Browns—were considered to be one of the best teams in professional football during that time. However, due to the AAFC's poor financial situation, the league disbanded after the 1949 season.

I do hope I am providing you with interesting and accurate information that satisfies your curiosity about American FootBall, its history and its structure. I am finding the details of my research quite entertaining. Are you?

I am very happy to report than Momma’s hand is much improved! While there is still a bit of swelling and light bruising on the back of her hand, she is now able to fully use her fingers with only minimal hindrance and no discomfort. Thank you so very much for your thoughts and prayers, good wishes and concern. (I believe she and Daddy have plans to purchase a new NylaBone for Mr Tyson; one that he cannot fit through his crate to deposit on the floor and cause more accidents!!!)

When I continue with the background information of American FootBall, we shall be moving along to Season and Playoff Development. I am looking forward to sharing what I have learned in that area with you.

  `Ü´ Greetings Miss Molly ...
Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe!

I do hope you were able to locate and read the posting Momma and I put together for Veteran’s Day yesterday. I apologize for both of us that we did not visit anybirdy yesterday. Momma had made an appointment for both me and Caique frother Sammy to have nail and beak trims with Dr Burkett, the BirdVet [and if you look him up on the internet, that is how you will find him listed **TeeHee**] in the afternoon, after she finished up with all of her other responsibilities, and during the time when we would normally have begun our visits. The greater complication arose when I became very agitated and overwhelmed during my beak trim. Dr Burkett even stopped his work before he finished all that he wanted to do because he told Momma it was not worth stressing me out further. Momma was VERY concerned because I was breathing so very hard, as was Dr Burkett.

At any rate, once we got home, and after Momma stayed with me for a long time to make sure that I was completely restored to normal, she herself was so stressed out that she was unable to settle herself down so that we could go to work delivering my note to everybirdy. Daddy and I both insisted that she just take the evening to calm herself and regain her composure before trying to go to sleep at bedtime so that she COULD get a good night’s rest, knowing full well that she would not be able to focus enough to be efficient while working on the computer and would therefore likely be up all night (being stubborn as she is) to complete the task.

What was so important that Momma would have scheduled an appointment with Dr Burkett for something as basic as a nail and beak trim right in the middle of the heightened activity of my Quest for the Crown? Well, I have a Public Appearance scheduled with the Seniors Group at Momma and Daddy’s church this coming Monday, and Momma wanted to be sure that my nails and beak would not be off-putting when they wanted to hold me. (And everybirdy ALWAYS wants to hold me! **GiGGle**) Besides, I-I-I always insist on looking my best when I have an appearance in front of the public.

It is so kind of you, Miss Molly, and your fisters also, to come to call yesterday. I do so appreciate your visits and your votes. So your momma is attempting to impress the FootBall Aficionados in your family with all of this new found information I have been sharing. That is both quite humorous, and quite a compliment. Please tell her I said, "Good for You!" **TeeHee**

I shall look forward to visiting again tomorrow when we shall complete our Founding and History of American FootBall, and then move on to Season and Playoff Development the next time.

Toutes alors, mes amies

  `Ü´ Greetings, Miss Molly,
Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe ...

and Welcome to “Monday Morning QuarterBack”, the show that brings you interviews, highlights, and FuN and informative tidbits of information on everything from The History of FootBall to each play and position on a Team. Actually, Monday will not be the only day we broadcast (nor will it always be seen in the morning), but it’s a catchy title for the program, is it not? **GiGGle** [OoPs! That wasn’t very professional. Well, moving right along … ] On today’s program, we pick up where left off last week in our discussion of the beginnings of American FootBall.

On August 20, 1920, a meeting was held by representatives of the Akron Pros, Canton Bulldogs, Cleveland Indians, and Dayton Triangles at the Jordan and Hupmobile auto showroom in Canton, Ohio. This meeting resulted in the formation of the American Professional Football Conference (APFC), a group who, according to the Canton Evening Repository, intended to "raise the standard of professional football in every way possible, to eliminate bidding for players between rival clubs and to secure cooperation in the formation of schedules". Another meeting held on September 17, 1920 resulted in the renaming of the league to the American Professional Football Association (APFA). The league hired Jim Thorpe as their first president, and consisted of 14 teams. Only two of these teams, the Decatur Staleys (now the Chicago Bears) and the Chicago Cardinals (now the Arizona Cardinals), remain.

The Akron Pros won the first

APFA (NFL) Championship. [Y-a-a-a-Y Akron! Momma’s HomeTown!!!]
Although the league did not maintain official standings for their 1920 inaugural season and teams played schedules that included non-league opponents, the APFA awarded the Akron Pros the championship by virtue of their 8–0–3 (8 wins, 0 losses, and 3 ties) record. The following season resulted in the Chicago Staleys controversially winning the title* over the Buffalo All-Americans. In 1922, the APFA changed its name to the National Football League (NFL).

* The 1921 NFL Championship controversy, known among Buffalo sports historians and fans as the Staley Swindle, is a dispute in which the Buffalo All-Americans unintentionally surrendered the 1921 APFA Championship title to the Chicago. The controversy began at the conclusion of the 1921 season, when the All-Americans finished the season with the best record in the American Professional Football Association. However, after losing what the All-Americans owner had intended to be an exhibition game to the Staleys on December 4, 1921, the All-Americans lost their title to Chicago on a tiebreaker.

And that’s where we will have to leave you for today’s program, FootBall Fans. Be sure to tune in again for our next program where we pick up the conversation on the Founding and History of American FootBall.

`Ü´ Greetings & Happy Weekend Miss Molly,
Miss Cookie, and Miss Tahoe!

And how are you faring thus far on this lovely Saturday, My Featheriends? In my last post, I alluded to the familiar saying, “Man [and LadyBirds and their mommas] plan, and God laughs!” Well, Father God is having a BELLY LAUGH today on The K Kritter Korral!!!

The first thing this morning, on a day that Momma was absolutely certain would be a day in which we could easily visit each of my featheriends at a leisurely pace, she needed to phone our Kittys’ Veterinary Hospital once a-g-a-i-n and make an appointment for a DIFFERENT KITTY from last week’s visit to be seen immediately. This morning it was Mr Larry Kitty who was having difficulties and throwing up multiple times; and it concerned Momma greatly. Momma and Daddy took him to see Dr Ken at the kitties’ new Triangle Clinic in Durham and once again Dr Ken gave our kitty an injection to make him feel better. It does seem to be working, and Momma is more at ease about the situation now. But the whole turn of events has, once a-g-a-i-n, set us behind schedule.

Were you and your fisters ever able to warm up yesterday, Miss Molly? I was uncertain that the simple act of stomping on my vote button would be sufficient to the task (though I am very grateful for your having done it! **GiGGle**) Perhaps the next time you visit I shall have some Hot Cocoa prepared to accomplish the purpose ... ?

Now, without further ado, I shall move immediately to Part II of “The History of the NFL”. Yesterday we talked a bit about how the League was born, and how it reached its current structure. Today we shall take a brief look at how the Teams are regulated and Championship Records from previous Seasons.

to have up to 53 players during the regular season, but only 46 can be active (eligible to play) on game days. Teams are given exclusive rights to sign free agents* that have three or fewer seasons in the league, but free agents that have been in the league at least four years can sign with any team of their choosing. Each team is subject to a salary cap**.

The champions of the most recent season, the 2013 season, are the Seattle Seahawks, who defeated the Denver Broncos by a score of 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII. The team with the most championships is the Green Bay Packers, who have won 13 championships. The team that currently has the second most Super Bowl championships is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have won six.

In an earnest effort to keep my notes to a minimum, I shall bring this portion of our investigation into FootBall to a close for today. I hope you have enjoyed learning a little bit of the foundation of America’s BIGGEST Sport. I most certainly have enjoyed bringing it to you.

Have a lovely day. A bientot, mes amies [See you soon, My Featheriends]

PS: Momma says that we will most likely be taking a break from visiting my Featheriends on Sunday. Rest assured, however, that just as you are so kind and loyal as to stop by and at least cast your vote to assist in my Quest for the Crown, I shall also return the kindness and drop off a vote for you. It is my pleasure to do so!

*free agent – A player who is eligible to sign with any club or franchise, i.e. not under contract to any specific team. The term is also used in reference to a player who is under contract at present, but who is allowed to solicit contract offers from other teams. In some circumstances, the free agent's options are limited by league rules. (The term came into wider use after the league stopped using a "reserve clause", which provided a repetitive option for a club to renew the contract for one or more years but did not allow the player to terminate it.)

**salary cap – An agreement or rule that places a limit on the amount of money that a team can spend on player salaries. The limit exists as a per-player limit or a total limit for the team's roster, or both. (The league implemented salary caps both as a method of keeping overall costs down and to ensure parity between teams so wealthy teams cannot entrench dominance by signing many more top players than their rivals.)

Greetings & Good Thursday, Miss Molly

Once again, what Momma and I had planned for today’s note has been foiled by circumstance! However, THIS time, it is a HAPPY circumstance. Let me eggsplain. The first thing I had intended to do was to eggstend my parrotsonal invitation to you to hurry over to The Milonga Page (#165848) to sign up to be either a Member of one of the Teams to play in this year’s Annual Birdie FootBall Milonga Championship Bowl, or to participate as a CheerLeader for this year’s Game. WELL!!! As of Mr Kiddo’s visit last evening, I was informed that there have already been 31 Birdies sign up to be Players, and 10 to be CheerLeaders! So, at this point in time, you now have only until midnight TODAY (Thursday, November 6) to be able to participate on the Field in either capacity. (And I do believe that would be midnight Pacific Time.) Please do HURRY if you still wish to be a part of the Playing FuN. But, whatever you do, BE SURE to mark the date on your calendar, November 29th, to attend this wonderful Annual Event and root for your favorite Team to win; either the Pilgrims or the Indians. As my frother, (Ö> Jake would be prone to say here, “Be there, or be SQUARE!!!” **TeeHee**

  Now, moving on …
to today’s planned History of the National FootBall League, this may serve to give us all a clearer picture of our American FootBall Heritage.

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league that constitutes one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America. It is composed of 32 teams divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The highest professional level of the sport in the world, the NFL runs a 17-week regular season from the week after Labor Day to the week after Christmas, with each team playing sixteen games and having one bye week* each season. Out of the league's 32 teams, six (four division winners and two wild-card teams**) from each conference compete in the NFL playoffs, a single-elimination tournament culminating in the Super Bowl, played between the champions of the NFC and AFC. The champions of the Super Bowl are awarded the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Various other awards exist to recognize individual players and coaches. Most games are played on Sunday afternoons; some games are also played on Mondays and Thursdays during the regular season. There are games on Saturdays during the first two playoff weekends. Sometimes, there are also Saturday games during the last few weeks of the regular season.

The NFL was formed on August 20, 1920, as the American Professional Football Conference; the league changed its name to the American Professional Football Association (APFA) on September 17, 1920, and changed its name to the National Football League on June 24, 1922, after spending the 1920 and 1921 seasons as the APFA. Following the NFL's merger with the All-America Football Conference at the end of 1949, the league adopted the name National-American Football League, but reverted back to National Football League three months later. In 1966, the NFL agreed to merge with the rival American Football League (AFL), effective 1970; THE FIRST SUPER BOWL WAS HELD at the end of that same season IN JANUARY 1967. Today, the NFL has the highest average attendance (67,591) of any professional sports league in the world and is the most popular sports league in the United States. The Super Bowl is among the biggest club sporting events in the world and individual Super Bowl games account for many of the most-watched television programs in American history. At the corporate level, the NFL is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) association. The NFL's executive officer is the commissioner, who has broad authority in governing the league.

At this point, I shall conclude my History Lesson for the day. I shall pick up with the balance of the lesson with my next note.

Have a lovely day. À la prochen frois, mon amie [Until next time, My Featheriend]

*bye week – Refers to any week during the regular season in which a team does not play a game. Each NFL team has one "bye week" during a normal season; this is placed on the schedule between Week 4 and Week 12.

**wild-card team – In general, a tournament or playoff berth awarded to a team that has not qualified through normal play. The wild-card teams constitute the two teams in each conference – after the division winners – with the best overall records.

`Ü´ Greetings & Happy FootBall Sunday to You!!!
My GOODness! Such wonderful compliments, Miss Molly. **BLuSh** Thank you very much for your lovely words. Thank you as well for visiting and leaving a vote on behalf of you and your fisters. I appreciate it more than I can say.

Perhaps one day before this month is over, I may convince Momma to help me with sharing about the Cross Country Adventure we took when we moved all 26 Kritters of The Korral from out in Missouri to here in North Carolina. She and Daddy did take pictures as so many birdies had asked for, but she hasn't shared them as yet. We shall see what can be done to fulfill those earlier requests.

I do hope that you have been able to enjoy watching a game or two today. Which Team is your favorite? Momma and I just LIVE to watch Peyton Manning and The Denver Broncos each week during the FootBall Season! (Parrotsonally, I think Momma has a big *CRuSh* on Mr Peyton. **GiGGle**)

Of course, we Fids of The K Kritter Korral are actually much more interested in what Sunday afternoon FootBall games mean for US …

I’m sure you’ve heard at least one of us mention our flockily’s favorite, Delicious Stitch’s Spicy PopCorn once or twice in the past. I thought today I would share the recipe for this bird safe treat with you and your flock so that we might ALL be able to enjoy it during the rest of this 2014 FootBall Season.

To give you just a little background on where the recipe comes from, Miss Stitch was one of the first birdies to befriend my Rainbow Bridge Fister, (~> Rosalie Hale Bopp, nearly 7-1/2 years ago. (Miss Stitch is on page #15308, if you would like to stop by later and say “Thank you!” for this wonderful concoction.) At any rate, Miss Rose and Miss Stitch were in conversation one day, and Miss Stitch happened to mention that she had enjoyed some of her momma’s Special Recipe PopCorn while watching a FootBall game. Well, OF COURSE, Miss Rosalie jumped right on the opportunity to inquire about this lovely sounding treat, and Miss Stitch was very happy to oblige with the recipe. After Momma and Daddy searched for a PopCorn popper that could be dedicated to the recipe (you will understand why after you actually read the recipe!), they made a batch and shared it with Miss Rose and Mr TidBit, the only other parrot in The K Kritter Korral at the time. From there, the size of the batch of PopCorn that Momma and Daddy prepare has blossomed as the size of The K Kritter Korral has grown. Currently, it takes THREE PopCorn poppers to accommodate The Flock AND Momma and Daddy for a game! **GiGGle**

And now, without further ado, I give you the recipe; which I hope you will enjoy at least as much as my Flock and I do!

Come visit me, `Ü´ Ruby Francesca Begonia.

(In Her Own Words)

“There are a few different ways to make it but first off I have my own popcorn pot. Mommy has a couple of them; one for me and one for the family. Mine is seasoned just right. (Once you put the oil with pepper in the pan the next thing you cook is going to be spicy too! That is why I have my own pot!) She puts pepper flakes or diced peppers in the pot with some oil. [Momma and Daddy just use pepper flakes here at The Korral.] You can use "popcorn" oil or you can use regular corn oil. Mom likes to use corn oil as there is a bunch of yucky stuff in the "popcorn" oil. You know ... additives and weird stuff like that. Mommy does not like me to have that. So she just uses the corn oil and puts the pepper right in it and lets it "sizzle". Add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper. Sometimes she puts in a dash of chili pepper too. Then she puts in the popcorn. [Daddy always puts just a single kernel of popcorn in at first, and waits until it pops before adding the rest of the popcorn. That way he knows that the oil is hot enough.] She sprinkles some Parmesan cheese over the top after it’s popped. But no salt...not good for us.

‘YUMMY!! Let me know how you like it! Aloha! Love Stitch ~:)”

[When Momma and Daddy make the PopCorn for us, Daddy dumps the popped corn from the popper into a paper grocery bag while Momma holds it open for him. Momma shakes the parmesan cheese onto it in the bag, folds the top of the bag down, and shakes it up to make sure the topping gets on all the pieces. Then she gives us each some from the bag. THEN she can add the salt for her and Daddy’s share.]

And there you have it, My Featheriends! The recipe for the Treat that we in The K Kritter Korral love the best!! I do hope that you will be able to convince your parronts to make you some; perhaps for Monday Night FootBall this week!? I hope you enjoy it at least half as much as we all do.

`Ü´ Greetings & Happy November, Miss Molly!
You, My Dear Featheriend, and everybirdy in your flock shall have a Front Row Seat to watch my "ruin" then! **GiGGle** We shall have more FuN than anybirdy else on the BirdChannel with it!

Well! This day has certainly turned out to be MUCH DIFFERENT than either Momma or I intended!!!

First thing this morning, it became clear to Momma that our oldest kitty, Mr Taggart, absolutely MUST go see a Kitty Doctor. Momma had not, to this point since our move to North Carolina, secured the services of a new Veterinarian for the Furry Four-Leggers. She had, however, gotten a recommendation from our BirdVet, Dr Burkett, for an animal hospital where he first trained as a vet that has a reputation for being one of the best in the entire Durham area. Thankfully, they are open on Saturdays for half a day and she was able to get Mr Taggart an appointment. And before you all begin to worry unnecessarily, I can happily tell you that he is vastly improved since his visit! (I know you would be concerned, so please let your mind be put at rest for his wellbeing.)

Then after Momma and Daddy brought Mr Taggart home, Daddy felt that it was time for HIM to see a Veterinarian for Humans for an eggstremely sore throat and a cough that kept us ALL up last night! I am also able to happily tell you that he was diagnosed with a simple sinus infection and prescribed antibiotics and cough medicine, and is even now resting and in bed for the night!

SO … After all that unscheduled activity today, Momma and I were put way behind schedule in what we had planned for today’s blog, and we decided to continue the process of reacquainting everybirdy with my flockily. But before I proceed with the introductions, I do want to share with you all that what we will be focusing on this month is … (Are you ready for it?) … FOOT~BALL!!! Yes, this GRITS GirlBird is going to join her momma in her total enthusiasm for the sport. We will be trying to give you information on some of the NFL Teams, and perhaps an interview or two with some FootBall Celebrities in the process. **GRiN** And stay tuned for possibly a contest or two; and, as is the custom every November, the Milonga theme will be The Annual Birdie FootBall Championship Bowl!!!

But, back to the plan for this evening’s blog. Please direct your attention to the new Profile Picture on my page. This is the most recent Portrait of The K Kritter Korral Fids. There will likely be a number of birdies in this picture with whom most of you are not familiar. Momma and I would like to share everybirdy in the flock, including those who do not have pages on BirdChannel because it is difficult for Momma to even keep up with communicating for the ones who DO have pages, let alone a flock of 16 birds!

Come visit me, `Ü´ Ruby Francesca Begonia.

Hopefully, the first thing you will notice is a circle-like formation of all of the Large Macaws in the flock. I am on the left of the circle at the 9:00 position. Moving clockwise we have Indy (Indiana Henry Jones, III, a male Blue-and-Gold Macaw), Jake (Charles Riley Jake, aka, CR Jake, whom most of you already know … UGH!), Riley (Riley Ann Orion, a female Harlequin Macaw), and Gabby (Gabriella Angelina Katrina, a female Blue-and-Gold Macaw). Moving a little to your right is a second circular collage. Beginning with the Congo African Grey at the 8:00 position, he is Sidney D’Beak B’Diddle; moving counter clockwise we have Billie (Billie Jo Bobbie, aka Wilhelmina Josephine Roberta, a female Lilac-Crowned Amazon), Leah (Leah Danielle Sharon, a female Hawk-Headed Parrot), Prissy (Priscilla Ivory Rose, a female White-Bellied Caique), TidBit ( … Juuuust TidBit, a male Normal Green-Cheeked Conure), Sammie (Samson Strong Wing, a male White-Bellied Caique), Corky (Corkus Turquoisius Maximus, a male Turquoise Green-Cheeked Conure), and finally Dilly (John Dillinger DoodleBird, a male Illiger’s Mini-Macaw). In the upper left corner of the picture are two of our Budgies, Shiraz & Joon (male & female); in the lower right corner of the picture is the other pair of Budgies, Clara & Willie. The little birdie by himself, in the “v” between the two circular images, is Pip (Pip Squeak Squirtsky, a male Dilute Blue Parrotlet). The Parakeets also have three names each, but in the interest of space, Momma and I are letting those pass. **GiGGle**

And there you have it, Featheriends; the entire birdie population of the K Kritter Korral! There also abide 6 Kitties and a Boxer Dog in the flockily. But we’ll save those for another time. Suffice it to say, Momma and I have our wings full managing The Korral on a daily basis. It’s a good thing that Daddy is always willing to help!

I see I have rambled on, AGAIN! I do apologize. But I wanted everybirdy to finally meet the entire flock. I hope you have enjoyed getting to know everybirdy as much as Momma and I have enjoyed introducing them.

`Ü´ Greetings and Happy Halloween, Miss Molly!
And Miss Cookie and Miss Tahoe too!

It is I, Ruby Francesca Begonia; the GirlBird who is dreaming of being voted the Bird of the Month for December. I don’t suppose you remember me now … Dooooo You? *GRiN*

I have been a member of this BirdChannel Community since August the 2nd of 2007. I am actually the Official Flock Leader of The K Kritter Korral; not that loud beaked frother of mine, (Ö> CR Jake, as HE would have everybirdy believe. It is understandable, though, that everybirdy would think that, since he does seem to have more to say than any of the rest of us in the flock.

I am just stopping by today to say “Hello” and to introduce myself (or Reintroduce, as the case may be) to everybirdy before my “Run for the Roses” commences tomorrow. And I am also inviting you to stop by my page (#35469) each day during the month of November to see what Momma and I have been able to come up with to entertain you and make it worth your while to cast your invaluable vote to help me attain my goal. Because, as everybirdy knows, this coveted Award does not just fall out of the sky each month. It takes work. And a desire to have a LARGE AMOUNT of FUN to make it happen.

And FUN is precisely what I intend to conjure up for everybirdy, as much as a GRITS GirlBird can. **TeeHee** I say that because, you may have noticed that my way of speaking may seem just a bit odd to you. That is because a “GRITS” GirlBird stands for a GirlBird Raised In The South, as I was; and as you may well know, we Southerners have a distinct way of speaking. I hope I will not be too formal for your tastes, and that we will all be able to have a great time … even if it does take a bit of getting used to. I shall try my hardest to give you all a good time!

Also by way of introduction, you may or may not recognize me as a partner with Miss Alex of the La Habra Flock in The Pretty Rose Flower Shop (Page #188440). If in no other way, you may recognize who I am from your having placed an order or received a Floral Gift from our Shop at some point. If that is how we have met, I do hope we have served you well and that you will give us many more opportunities to do so again in the future.

But I ramble on. Suffice it to say that I hope what Momma and I have planned for you for the month will be both fun and interesting. And, at this point, I also wish to thank Mr Jesse, the October candidate for November Bird of the Month, for his kind invitation for all of you to come play with me during his reign.

Sweet Molly, thanks for BOTD- Queen Angel Christy
This morning when our daddy finally finished the morning paper changing route and food and water dishes, he sat down and powered up this cursed machine! He was so not ready to see his beloved Angel in the BOTD spotlight, he almost lost it! He had just came back inside from his morning prayers at her grave, today will be a solemn day of celebration at our home! There are certainly more beautiful birds in the world, but none was ever more loved, sadly, there can NEVER be another Christine! We have another fabulous day here in Rock Island, give our love to all in your great home, see ya tomorrow...

  Hi Molly..
It's Romey stopping by to say hello and check on your Mommy, how's she doing, we wish her our very best. We've certainly had some pretty weather for July, enough rain to keep Mommy's garden kicking, but every where I look tomatoes are laying every where, today she thought she'd try a new recipe for tomato soup just to use up some of the tomatoes..I've been spending most of my days outside and playing inside my box, I got a new one yesterday, I've got a couple of windows chewed out, Mom's hoping that'll keep me from chewing the wood on my inside aviary, but that's doubtful. I hope you've been enjoying your summer, Mom said she's looking forward to some much cooler weather soon and not so much yard work..I think about you often, have a good day sweety, chat with you soon, love to Cookie and Tahoe, xoxo Romey

My darling Molly, some love from Angel Christy
...precious friend, thank you so much for the sweet note you left on my page! I wish you could meet my brother Limon, he is such peach, and my daddy is awestruck over him, go figure! He sure keeps dad hopping, picking up after him, but he will calm down someday, we hope! So glad to hear that our dear aunt Judy is doing so good, the PT is very important, but it made my dad very tired also, tell her to stick with it if she is able, dad still tries! Well it's a little cooler today, but most importantly much less humid! Happy hump day to you and all our friends, not a lot happening today, just more cage duty for dad, it keeps him off the streets, LOL! Dad's buddies called yesterday and there will be a Sexton Ford old timers lunch date this Friday, that is always a fun time, dad worked with most of these people for 38 years! Have a great day dear friends, and give my love to all in your sweet home, see ya tomorrow...

Forever love from Angel Christy, Limon, & the Dallas family

PS~You would just love Limon, he is a piece of work, but daddy calls him a work in progress...

Thanks for your votes...I sure appreciate them..V4U..Today my campaign blog I will give you a bit of information about the cockatiel that Mom thought was also interesting to know...The earliest reference to the cockatiel dates back to 1792,when it was described for scientific purposes. However, it was probably not until the late 1830s that cockatiels were first brought to Europe-at about the same time as the budgerigar-and for many years the cockatiel remained in the shadow of that other popular member of the Australian parrot family. Not until the 1950s did cockatiel mutations start to appear, and during recent years the cockatiel has finally achieved a strong international following, with numerous colors established and new color combinations still being developed. As its popularity increased cockatiel enthusiasts founded specialist societies that attract an international membership, in various countries, exhibition standards have now been established for the different varieties, including the normal grey. The cockatiel is classified as a member of the cockatoo family and was originally named the cockatoo parrot. The word cockatiel may have been introduced by a London bird dealer who shortened the Dutch word 'Kakatielje' which translates as 'small cockatoo'. Have a nice Tuesday...May birdie wing hugs ...Sam :o)

  Hi Molly,

How are you? Long time, no talk. It's Oz, The Pink Too. I love your story of how you met your Parents. You're one of the lucky ones to just have one owner. Mommy is my 3rd owner but she says that I'm now in my Forever Home and I'm so happy. Life is good. Here's a vote for you, cutie. Hope you, your Flock and Family have a Happy Memorial Day. Bye for now.

Oz (Your Pink Friend)

Thanks for your vote...V4U..Today my campaign blog will be about "Treating a sick bird"....Accurate diagnosis of illness in cockatiels can be very difficult without laboratory assistance, but you will soon see that a bird is sick.It will sit quietly, with its plumage no longer sleek, and its eyes may be closed. The droppings will alter in appearance and,in some cases, can even show traces of blood. If you begin treatment during the early stages of the illness, there is a good possibility that the bird will make a full recovery.Antibiotic drugs, prescribed by a veterinarian if necessary, can be administered via the cockatiel's drinking water or, in more acute cases injected directly by the veterinarian.Carefully follow all instructions about dosage and never stop a course of treatment before the recommended time.Antibiotics are useful in countering bacterial disease, but are of little direct value in viral and most fungal infections. Fortunately, viral infections are uncommon in cockatiels and the main problem involving fungi is candidiasis, which can be controlled by feeding a well-balanced diet.Sick birds need a warm environment up to 90 degrees F or 32 degrees C.You can keep them in a hospital cage with an infrared lamp.Choose a 'dull emitter'variety, because this produces heat but not light.Suspend the lamp over part of the cage. The cockatiel will then be able to adjust its position, moving closer to the heat to the heat source as necessary...Tomorrow I will continue part 2 of "Treating your sick bird"....Hope you are having a great Sunday....Birdie wing hugs to you...Sam :o)

  Hello Molly~
I hope you are having a great day!

As most of you already know, I came to live with my mom when her sister was unable to care for me anymore! I have known mom for 30 years and been a part of the family for that long! Mom use to bird sit me so when I needed a new place to live she was the logical choice! That and the fact that she has always loved me so very much!

To celebrate my 6th anniversary of being with my mom, I am holding a fund raiser for Iowa Parrot Rescue. I support this rescue every month and am amazed at the awesome job Mike and Abi do to take care of birds in need of a home. I have many friends who are in forever homes who started out at IPR. I am a lucky bird since I have been with my family for 30 years and will continue to live with them until the end of my life. There are many birds who are not as fortunate as us! They have already adopted out many birds this year but for some reason, no Amazons! Being an Amazon, I want to help out my fellow zons!

On May 25th-next Sunday-every vote that Sam gets will mean a dollar contribution for the Iowa Parrot Rescue! You can help by leaving a vote for Sam that day! I really appreciate every vote that will mean money for the IPR! Tell your friends who may not know me and Thank you in advance!!

I know the BC has been slowing down and many birds have lost interest lately but I hope you will all get out to support Sam and the IPR!

I hope your day is just perfect!
Love, hugs and a vote ~ Sugar
