Chilli here. Nice to meet you, too. It sounds like you've got it made. I'm still setteling in but my mom plays with me every day and I'm getting more used to her every day. Dad works all day so he only sees me in the evenings. But they'll both be home this weekend for 3 days so I plan on getting lots of attention from both of them. That's so cool that your mom cooks for you. So far, I'm just eating the food that the store gave dad but I'm hopping to get some home cooked goodies soon. Well I got to go and have my breadfast now but please stop by again. I love making new friends. WHY IS EVERYONE SO HAPPY IN MY FLOCK?
WE GOT A FUNNY THING THATS PINK LOOKS GOOD TO PERCH ON(BASKET) BUT WHATS THAT GREEN STUF ,THEY CALL HAY,AND THAT STUFF EVERYONE IS GOING AFTER, DAZZLES SAYS ITS POPCORN,I JUST MIGHT HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT, BUT I AM NOT SURE.MAYBE I WILL TRY A PIECE.

Sly here. Welcome to BC and here's another vote for you. My mom raised a sparrow once and named her Chirpy Chip. When she rescued Chirpy she didn't even have one pin feather. And they went on vacation taking her with. So when I met her I called her Chippers. I'd call her and she'd fly over to my cage and share my food. But I put my foot down letting her bathe in my water....That's for me to do. Mom did turn her loose and sadly she was killed by a man. She did raise one brood tho. I still miss her.
