I know what you are feeling your not alone.since july 14th of 08 to new year eve of 08 i lost five birds my kids, and the kicker was on new years eve i lost my best friend of 10 years ,my golden retriever, her name was Shelby.just try to remeber the good times and the laughter that they gave us.thats what they would want us to do.One of my birds his name was Struggles this was our first hand raised bird that we feed he was so small and so full of life,he had to take him out of the box which was a wrong box for nezting ,at seven days old, feeding him was every two hours,he grew up I had him for year in half, but dummy me didnt clip his wings ,his toes was curled so we thought he would be better for him to fly.will lets just say i really blame myself for his death.after his death a door opened for me I meet my new friend that hand raised birds, and she is teaching me to breed birds cockitails LOL i have so many birds cockitails not just living in the cages but they come out during the day to play and run around .
but i will never forget the ones i lost.
take care and just look for all the laughter that he gave you during his life with you
drop by when you feel up to it
