4 Years

I pick my feathers too but chew the greenies off cause I had a bacterial infection in my crop and habits are hard to break the vet said. If you get bird talk magazine look for the ad of pretty parrot in it with the people that sale eclectus and call that number or email them and they will help you alot. I am on the pretty parrot pellets again. I was on them and went to volmans for eclectus and that is when I started having black on my feathers and stuff from all the seed in it so back on the pretty parrot pellets plus mom cooks steel cut oats and brown rice and beans and fresh fruit. Nothing with sulfur dioxide, enriched or vitamin fortified either. Hope this all helps you. I forgot to tell you a funny story. Last week when our AC broke and the repairman came to fix it I kept wolf whistling at him. He was outside but the windows were open and mom kept telling me shhhhh shhhhh cause she was afraid he would think it was mom doing the whistling hihihi. “Always make new friends but keep the old for the new ones are silver and the old ones are gold.” V4U..beaky kisses and wing hugs from your friend, Gus.Come visit me, Gus & Chi chi ..
