I had originally wanted an amazon, but after I did some research, I decided I better start with a pionus for my first parrot. I saw Max at a bird store and knew I had to have him. He was 9 months old when I brought him home and I'll never forget when his hatchday is....it's the day after my birthday!.

Active within 973 Days Hi! My name is Max I am from Brown Deer, WI. Max-a-roni 11 years old M Peanuts, carrots, peanuts, bananas,peanuts- ...oh did I say peanuts?? The shower and playtop on my cage Those darn cats! Even though we have a big flock here now, she still takes time to make me feel special. And since I was the first bird here, I get fed first! Plus, who else would give me peanuts? If you sing me the pretty bird max song, I'll be your bestest friend.. .otherwise I might just bite ya!. It pays to be first!.

HI MAX phew!!!! I'm so glad Shadow is healthy and theres no bugs!!!! Yeah foraging toys will be fun! They make some pretty neat ones to. My mom uses this site because they are the cheapest she's found. It's www.avianenrichment.com They have really good foraging toys. Let me know what you think. My mom baught me a huge wood toy from there for Christmas and she didn't know it was gonna be that big. It was about 2 feet long and 1 1/2 feet wide and 10lbs.. It has a big bambo top with a bunch of chains hanging down with wood pieces on the chains. It only cost $28!!! Which is very cheap for a toy that big!! Your mom will see it when she checks the site out. They have a smaller one that would be good for Lola and Shadow... Let me know what you guys think of the site... Have a great day!! HI MAX Have your mom look at Shadows skin. If theres little bites or scabs then it might be mites. They'll be under her wings, on her legs and neck. Just because the other birds don't have them, doesn't mean she might not. Bobo and Chewy don't have them and they are all in the same room so make sure the vet checks and have him check for internal parasites. So your mom got pooped on. Poor mom!!! I hope you all are having a good sunday. Please keep us posted on what the vet says about Shadow. HI MAX It's good to see that you guys have your own pages!!! So way is Shadow chewing her feathers? I hope it's not bugs!!!! Bobo chews his wing feathers but my mom thinks it's because his breeder cut them so now he keeps chewing them. My mom wants them to grow out so he can fly but he keeps chewing them! Dumb bird! hee hee!! Well my mom put the Sevin powder on me yesterday and cleaned my cage really good today so hopefully that will kill those dang bugs!!!! I'm still getting itchy and getting the skin infections so if I don't start getting better in a few days then it's back to the doc's!! But this time my mom is taking me to Tampa. Theres a female doc there and she's supposed to be the best! I'm sure if it's a female then she probably is! tee hee!!! Well I better get going. Have a good night and a great sunday!!
