 I wanted a house bird, and my last bird was a bald headed roller, and i couldn't keep him in the house anymore. did some research, and came up with Quakers, found a local breeder, and i picked up Snoopy in October 2008. |

Been so busy
Hello everyone, been gone for a long time during the summer, lots of va ca! went down to South Dakota very beautiful country, would've loved to have stayed longer, but with 2 teenage boys, iyaiayeeeeee! couldn't have come home soon enough. but would love to go back. Finally at home, then spent tons of time looking around for and making bird toys, it's soooo much fun, i think i enjoy the toys more than Snoopy. Lots of great ideas from fellow birds lovers here, can't thank everyone enough.Come visit me, Snoopy.

grouchy grouchy grouchy birdie
apparently my Snoopy is going through his terrible 2's, YIKES!!!!!
i was asking a Q re: my Snooper boop biting, and falling, and biting, and biting, (i think i made my point, ha ha) and Pepper's Pa said it's probably t-2's, well i've raised 2 boys and lived through that, so i am guessing i can live with one more male "toddler"Come visit me, Snoopy.

Snoopy Speaks!!!!
i am soooo excited, this morning during our regular routine, i go see Snoopy, uncover him, say "goodmorning Snoopy" and our regular that i ask him to say to get out of his cage. 'hello, and out' and i've added 'i love you, (not that i expect him to say that phrase yet, 'cuz it's new, but this morning he did, yippee,
not clearly, but it certainly was there.Come visit me, Snoopy.

toys
my mummy finally found some real cool toys for me! i am so excited! she got thi idea from this forum, or another site, but she bought little paper cups, and put an almond slice in it, and crumpled it up. boy oh boy did i have fun chewing that up, yum yum. she also bought some baby toys, how cool, (that idea was from another birdie owner. if anyone has more cool ideas, come and let me know please. i woukld appreciate it very much.Come visit me, Snoopy.
