The owner of a bird store called and said she had a baby green-wing coming in, which I had been wanting a large bird and I went down and saw this featherless gawky bird and fell in love with her. Couldn't resist, so after a few short weeks, I picked her up and finished feeding her out and we became instant buddies.. Awards

Green-Winged Macaw

Nuts of any kind, especially pine nuts. Scrambled eggs and cheese.

Lilac bush outside by our deck, on my shoulder and on top of her cage

Hates to go in her cage, even when it's night-night time.

She loves me and gives me lots of attention and mauls me around and plays with me.

She likes to sit on her tail and her tail looks pretty ratty..

  Hello from Starburst!
What a beautious baby you are! I am a Catalina macaw. My parronts hatched me and fed me, too. I love them and we were also instant buddies. I like to play on the floor with everything and anything I can get my beak on. I just hate it when mom or dad takes my find away and says I can't have it. I found it, I should be able to destroy it, right? Who do they think they are? Oh well. I will just keep destroying my toys so they have to make me more. Fly by for a visit anytime, ok? Hope to hear from you soon. Here's a vote for you. C ya later!

Come visit me, Jade, Merlina, Starburst, Pipper & Sunkist.
