Yes, the nitwits at the pet store thought they could cross breed a bunch of us, but we are like all guys and Carter was the only gal, so that sorta put the kabosh on the breeding plan. Thanks for singing to me in honor of my upcoming hatchday. In just a few more days I'll be celebrating my third year of life. Your song has helped get the party started early.
First though, I have a big day tomorrow. I'm going to try out that new Bird of the DAY thing. Ah, that #1 position in mom's heart; the place we all hope to be. I pour on the charm hoping to be in that coveted spot but you know, I think each of my flockmates and I hold a number one place in some unique way. Isn't it wonderful to be loved so much?
Do you remember what it was in that bowl you were helping yourself too? Looks like a salad of some sort maybe. I can't resist hopping down and taking a nibble out of a bowl of cold cereal. Mom's knows I'm going to want a piece so she generally sets aside several wheat flakes or a Corn Chex for me to nibble on while she eats. Two is never enough and soon I'm moving towards her bowl, intent on doing just what you're doing in the picture; standing on the edge. Us silly bird, helping ourselves to the humans' food. Hey, if they're eating it, I want some too.

Yeah, with the finches going for BOTW and then all the time they answered everyone while they were there the rest of us had to wait. Sure am glad for all your help getting them there too. They're my favorites. I love it when they visit my cage.

Grover here to say "hello", nice to meet you. I was visiting on our new Kings' page and saw your name and note and thought I'd come by. You're a beautiful bird, I must say, and I love your bright red beak. Enjoyed reading your profile and how you love tangerines and hitching a ride on your mom's back. Interesting, isn't it, how each of us birds has something particular we do with our moms. I love to hide in my mom's hair with just my head poking up through the long stuff. Of course that's hard to do when it's all piled on top of her head so I sit and carefully pull a few strands down until I've got a nice curtain around me.

Yes we did make it. Thanks to everyone flying by. We ALL MADE HISTORY! It's so exciting in here. And Duty was right the spa is fantastic. Mom gives good rubs, but nothing like these guys! We want everyone to fly by and enjoy. We couldn't have made it without all the support.

Kiwi here. No I'm not spoiled....I just have dad well trained. hehehe I love mom too, but much prefer dad.
Did Punkin tell you that Aramina, who used to live with us, now has a gray husband? Yep, The ones who adopted her got a male for her and he is really handsome. She hasn't tried to attack him either. So probably this spring she'll lay fertile eggs. That would be great.
It's not fair we quakers aren't allowed in Pa. and 12 other states.
