I STILL can't get over that game. That was something Huh? You played such a fantastic game...In it To Win It, we'll start calling YOU!!! Phew!!! I hope your Dad has had a greyt Father's Day....*Ha-a-a-appy Fa-a-a-ather's Day, Uncle Chuck!*** I just wanted to stop in and let you know I was thinking of you all. Parronts are winding down as it's been a quiet one here today. Did you get any of those bad storms? We had about 20 minutes of rain and dark clouds...readied for the basement, but, POOF...it all cleared up! The rains have been mostly at night so everything is nice and green!

Hi King Arthur Alex,
grey't game yesterday and you came through when we needed it. Your home run brought me home after I hit that little single but it did get me on base but your homer did it, you tied the game.

I am so proud of all of my team, we have team spirit and we have talented players...

We are having grey't weather, I am doing a lot of exploring around the bird room and now into the kitchen, I am thinking about going into the laundry room next. I saw mom open a cupboard door yesterday and now I know how to open it but old eagle eye, mom keeps catching me before I have the chance but one day...mom uploaded a video of me flying home. When mom tells me that it is time to go home, I usually walk part of the way and then when I get closer I fly and land on the side of the cage. This is all new to me, I never ventured very far for about 11 years, I just stayed around my house but now I get down on the floor and now I can fly. I have always had my full set of wing feathers since I came here but just now decided to try them out...

I'll let you know when BC releases it so you can watch it if you want to.

That's very true, but we needed your hit SO MUCH at that very moment you came through like a champ! What an exciting game today's was, yes? It's a wonder I didn't gnaw off a nail or two. But you know, I didn't even think about doing it. It was just all energies on the game.

Say, would you please tell your sweet Dad thank you for the toys he sent down to us McFlocksters. We were all eyes as the box was being opened. I thought if it was first come, first get, I could have whatever I first picked out. Turns out I selected the one thing that was mom's. Go figure. I like the little red flower that's on one of the strings of blocks. It's got a couple of bent petals already.

Aw-w-w...bummer we lost that game...and bummer I had to be so quiet as I enjoy the games so much, but Mom has been distracted by a family emergency and Looks like things will be "touch and go" for the next several weeks, but she's doing her best to keep plugged in to the BC and games. It's so sweet of you to be so concerned about Poirot. I know for certain that he and his Mama are touched by your caring. If you've visited the Calendar Page in the last couple of days, you've probably already seen the note that discusses the current state of affairs and the reason behind the decision to keep Poirot at Dr. Speer's another week. I guess he's making the most of the situation and having a good time with his captive audience. If I might dare to speak it outloud, I dare say there's hope of welcoming home a WELL GREY PENGUIN!! The parront had to change her plans for next week. Well Mom has sat down to type for me so you had to be my first port of call. It has been an age since we have been around to say hi to our friends. I can not complain too much as Mom has been spending lots of time with Caden and I so I guess it is OK that she has not been at the old keyboard much. It is that time of year when we get to go outside and feel the wind in our feathers and the sun on our wings. The other up side is that Mom won't leave us outside on our own (even though we are in a screen enclosure) so she sits out there with us. Sunshine and Mom time all rolled into one. Doesn't get any better than that. Hehehe. Hope you and the rest of the Dallas flock are doing well. Birdie hug! MM

Big Game Tomorrow is RIGHT!
Like you, I'm praying that Poirot will get a medical release and be able to play. Then again, if he still needs time to recover from this last test that gave everyone a scare, I'm all for that. Can't have anything happening to our precious Grey guy.

I see you've offered the lovely Miss Tahoe a ride to the game tomorrow and she's accepted! Well, you go, Arthur! So good to have you stop by as your handsome beak at my perch always brings a sweet spirit and gentle presence! ....and an invitation to ride on your Harley??????....woooohoooo....I've already asked Mom to forget about dropping me off...she will be going to the STC Parade in the morning and Dad is speaking afterwards at the Memorial Park by the river. Oh, and you mentioned the game was Wednesday...did you mean Monday...tomorrow? We are playing Cookie's team so Mom will be dropping her off and bringing snacks for both teams anyway...(the car will be full!) :) She just gave me all sorts of warnings, like be careful of the tail pipe and how hot it gets. She sported a burn for weeks after a Harley ride from a friend in the neighborhood as a kid.This will be soooo cool!!! Meanwhile, please be sure to let Uncle Chuck know how Thankful we are for his service and how Thankful we are that he is part of our lives today. Mom and Dad went to Whole Foods yesterday and bought us our favorite cake cones for icecream, but we like them plain to munch on!! I'll save some for the game tomorrow!! Well, it's chilly here too...even sprinkling some. I hope the weather holds out for the game and the parades tomorrow!

And we all give thanks to your sweet daddy who served our country! We are all home chilling (yup the temps are down again and our dad had the fireplace going). Had the family cookout yesterday, indoors. Was a greyt time with all sorts of goodies for us fids. Mom mailed your dad a little package which of course went out late on Friday...a little something for a belated hatchday from last week. I'd like us all to meet at the stadium around 12:30 so we can get a little practice in and get warmed up...those CJC's are a tough team so we need to be on our toes...

Thanks for the compliment on our landscaping...dad can't do much around the yard anymore either so mom had to hire a gardener to mow the lawn and do the other stuff that needs to be done. Mom wanted the flowers and trees planted, she is trying to get the backyard as private as possible since we have neighbors all around us...mom is also trying to make it as easy as possible to take care.

Mom is hoping to BBQ on Sunday or Monday if the weather permits...it has been a really long time since she has because every time they tried to eat outside they got bombarded by wasps but now if they come they can go into the sunroom and eat dinner...

When you have a bad day, it can only get better.

After our talk yesterday, pops was still in the dumps. BUT, that changed VERY quickly. there was this LOUD, bang on the back door, followed by a loud yell, 'POLICE, open up before we smash the door in'. So, he ran to the door, ready for war, and it turned out to be his favorite rookie, that was in Florida for a visit, and stopped to see him.

The had a nice visit and now he's really feeling OLD & DEPRESSED. His favorite rookie told him that he had RETIRED. Now can you imagine how he had to feel, this young kids retired. Seemed like only yesterday, that pops was nursing him and keeping him out of trouble.

Gosh, time sure fly's, when yer getting OLD. ha ha ha.

We haven't gone anywhere....

Just a little, NO, a lot disappointed that this being the 20th. of the month, and I still don't have my OFFICIAL BOTM photo to post on my page. I have NEVER seen this happen to anyone else, ever before, and it hurt's that we gave it our best effort, and can't understand the LONG delay. I realize there might be more important thing going on for some people, but it really made me feel terrible.

Oh well, it's no big thing, and like a lot we have not commented on, we'll get over it.

We will had a great game the other day. Just missed out by a few runs. I am very impressed to see that the entire Dallas flock is playing in a MLBB this year. That sure will keep Uncle Chuck busy going to the games.

As for the Hobbs flock, all is well. My frother, Caden, has come along so well and is a sweet little chap. For the most part I am ok with him. There a few places that I view as my territory that he has to stay out of. If he wonders into those Mom has to be quick to get him so I don't have a go at him. Hehehe.

Well time to go. Mom has a bunch of stuff to do this morning and then late this afternoon we will be going out back to enjoy a bit of sun. Have a good day my friend. MM
