Hi Miss L-O-L-A Lola!! :)
How is your weekend going? Having mom home is great but the weekends go by so quick and Mom will be back to work tomorrow!! Moms Birthday isn't until Sept but Dad gave her one of her gifts last night! He gave her a Kindle Fire so she can read books on it!! Mom was so excited but she doesn't really know how to use it yet! :) This morning Mom got up early and went with her friend Mary to yard sales! She came back with brand new doggy bowls for Sheena... she only paid $2.00 for both!! They are nice heavy bowls too! Then she picked up a whole bunch of crochet needles for a friend of hers for only $3.00! Mom said there must be like 50-100 knitting and crochet needles in this little birdie box that they were in. :)
Then her and her friend went to brunch and shopping at Bealls were Mom found a nice set of dishes that she purchased for Jason since he will be getting his own place when he moves down here in a few weeks!! :)

Hi My Little Sweetie
Daddy was off today and put my new Mansion together while Mom was out shopping!! I love it! It's TREEEEEEMENDUSSSSS!!!! :) Mom left the top open and the front door! I can come and go as I please!! Mom wasn't to sure if I would be happy or not but I think I'm gonna like this alot!!! The first thing I did was try to get my water bowl out of the holder which is pretty much impossible so I gave up! Mom always thinks of me as a Mechanic because I am always trying to take things apart. heehe
Now there's plenty of room for you to come here with your mom and dad!!! :)

Hiya Sistah lola!!
Mom thinks that I have a blockage from the tumor thats by my vent.I'm sure your Momma told you cause I overheard mom and Aunt Dede tawk'n bout me.
Peetie has a doctor appt in the morning so mom went to petsmart tonight and got me a little carrier so that I can come along and see the doctor also. When Mom had me there a few weeks ago the doctor said there was nothing she could do for the fatty tumor (if thats what it is)
But now it is causing me problems so moms hoping she might be able to aspirate it or something. mom can tell that I'm not feel'n well cause I am puffed up a lot and am having trouble poop'n. I also slept in a little wash cloth against moms chest this afternoon. I even let mom rub my head and face with out trying to take a finger off! Please pray that the doctor can help make me all better. ... I am off to bed now. Cya tomorrow after the vet. Love and hugs, Lil Peep

Hello my sweetness!! How are you? Hows your gram? We are all praying for her surgery to go well and for a speedy recovery!! I am thinking about you all the time, every day!!!
Moms been so busy around here so we haven't been able to visit much!
Mom and dad are both off today! Yea!! Mom made chicky soup and gave us all some celery leaves and zucchini and a piece of carrot! Mango is talking to a new toy that he got! Mom has a box of toys that she has accumulated from Uncle Chuck and Aunt Betty. Every once in a while when she sees us getting bored she changes out our toys!! :) The Parronts will be hanging pictures back up on the wall and moms got tons of clothes to sort through and bag up for charities!! Hope your enjoying your day!!Don't forget the Milonga Party! I think its the 18th!!! You have to go with me so tell your momma not to make any plans!!! :)

Tawk about drama!!!!
Here's the deal-e-o Mom drove 50 minutes to Grandpas this morning. Then the 2 of them drove an hour to the hospital where they got stuck at the stupid draw bridge for 15 min. Valet parked, went down to the dungeon which is where this docors quarters are. Waited 20 minutes to talk to someone. Looooong story short, Gramps didn't have the teeth pulled today because an assistant their told Gramps that he should of had dentures made 1st!!! Gramps was confused and upset, mom had to keep him calm and told him she agreed with what the assistant was saying. Mom and gramps left the dungeon and headed to the valet for moms car. Gramps was all STRESSSSSSED out which made mom stressssssssed!! They got the car and left. Got stuck at the )*&(*^T%%&^E$$#!
draw brige AGAIN! With gramps swearing and carrying on like a loonie tune!! Gramps asked Mom to drive through walGreens for a script that was supposed to be in today!
Of course after waiting in line for 1/2 hr she was told it would be in tomorrow!!! That's also what they told him yesterday after he got a call to pick up the script!! (*&&&*^&^((_)(_)(*^$#$# Then mom took gramps home who is still having trouble holding his pee in. Mom tried avoiding all bumps in the road and idiot drivers on the road!! Which was almost impossible!
Grandpa Jumped out of moms car and ran into the house barely making it to the potty!! Mom sat for a few minutes and then left to grocery shop! Now do you understand what xanax is for? heehehe.. Mom didn't take any today but she said she should have!!!
Mom was gone from 10am until 5:30 pm!!! Just think, she will haffa do this a few more times!!!

What plans do the Parronts have for Thanksgiving?
Mom will start all of her cooking tomorrow night! The Turkey bird will be in the oven bright and early Thursday morning! Get a load of this!!! The Turkey weighs 22 pounds!!! That's a pretty big birdie!!! Grandpa and Uncle Jay are coming for dinner! Dad has to work Thanksgiving morning but will be home around 1:30! I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving! Heres the gossip!!!
We had some rain last night and its been cool today, breezy and raining on and off! Mom don't care cause its friday!! :) TGIF!!! Well, Tammy the groomer came today!
I look beautiful now that I had my beak, nails and feathers pampered with!! Peetie, paulie and Mango were such big babies!! Peetie was 1st and he was sqauwking which alarmed Paulie! Paulie hid out in his denim hut and wouldn't come out with out a fight!! Then when it was mango's turn the groomer had to catch him first!! He was all over the place!! She finally got him in a towel and he was squaking like someone was trying to kill him!!! Sheeeesh!!! Me, I just kept trying to bite the lady! I was on my cage when she came in and I remembered her from her last little visit! I leaped off my cage but she caught me as I headed for the sliding doors!! Now that its all over and done with, we all feel great!!! :) Will you be at the Milonga tomorrow night? We will try to be there.Dad is off work early so Mom and Dad may go out to dinner or something. I am sure we will make it there sooner or later!!!

I sure am glad you got to fly over. Here's today's story... I added some photos of our travel
Dad was planning on taking pics of each state but it didn't work out because of the pace they set. And some states were entered at night.
Part 12.....Dad says that our travels are nearly over!!So mom keeps checking the tom-tom to check the route...Dad NEVER set it he's using his computer for the route. So he's asking mom what road should he take and all. Hey that's NOT the road....the road is back there! DAD! Can't you read? MOM! YOU BLIND????!!! Wow did we see lots of pretty country all cause they got all switched around. hehehe
Dad was trying to save money by avoiding toll roads and so we got lost a few times. What lovely country. All green and all. We missed most rains too which was lovely. So FINALLY we see the WELCOME TO NC sign. Not long now. Raleigh is only a hundred or so miles. Boy is it ever taking a long time getting to Raleigh....HEY DAD! THERE'S THE ROAD TO RALEIGH! Oh, we gotta take a different turn? Thata girl, mom! Call skin sis and find out the RIGHT road....OH THIS IS THE RIGHT ROAD. Sorry dad. This trail is Old Sorrell Rd? Pretty isn't it? THERE IT IS!! HEY LOOK HOW PRETTY TREES EVERYWHERE! GREEN EVERYWHERE! We're stopped! Mom is getting ALL us birds out. Oh this IS wonderful air! no smog here for sure. HI all our wild cousins!
Hey mom's getting out all our cages and putting them together. YES mom is putting together ONLY THE MOST IMPORTANT CAGES. Oh brother, can you believe we're in with a person who's not ANY experience with birds..okay they had a keet once but he couldn't take the noise. Wait'll Sophie starts calling!! heheheehe. Mom got all the cages built and us birds in them. ALL THIS ROOM! THANK YOU MOM!
Thus we landed in the Raleigh, NC area....tomorrow you get to hear about other parts of our new life......

Hi Lola
Some parts of the move were better than others for sure. Tomorrow starts the travel! Part 9...Don't worry, packing is nearly done....
hehehe yep tired of even remembering those days. So after that day there was a mad dash for packing....time was getting super short and mom shook herself out of the lethargy she was in so she located tons of boxes....just to think..."Hey! I don't need this old thing. I can get a new one when we get there. Hey why am I even thinking of packing this?" On and on so then she had a friend stop by to help and then needed a ride home. Mom took the pickup cause she was giving the gal some food and stuff for her birds...none of our good stuff I can tell you!! So after mom dropped her off and started to head home she found she couldn't shift! It only stayed in 2nd gear. She pulled over and called dad to tell him. Well the van was being worked on and the pickup was all we had....HAD is the word. Well mom got a couple of guys push it backward so she could get going. It's just a good thing it was only a few blocks to home. Got it home and a friend stopped by the next day and announced the transmission went out. OH GREAT!! Well at least it didn't go out in the middle of nowhere. After a couple of days dad took it out to his old work to let them sell it or something. Now we only have one vehicle and one trailer to take to NC...dad said that since that happened mom could keep more stuff and we'd go back to get all....We also found out that Harbor Freight had given the WRONG title for the trailer...after all the work and loading and all...so we had to leave the red trailer there as well as the other stuff. Still haven't gotten the correct title from Harbor Freight...when we do we can work on getting it back here. So most our stuff...including most of our bird things are still in Reno...over 2,000 mi away....4 days hard driving.....oh that comes later.....sorry *punkin duck her head*

We DO have worries about you all having your parronts getting so busy the end of the month. And all the bad weather too. I'm so happy you guys could make it. I look forward to seeing you more...all stories are on Shaggy's page so you can catch up.
Part 8....
Packing was going pretty good until mom seemed to hit a brick wall. I never seen anyone stop dead cause she couldn't think. Good thing we birds have our ways of getting loves....Anyhow, we still had "the girls" in fact they didn't go home until just a few days before we moved so us finches had those crazy birds flying all around. We got to laugh so much too...Sara, she's the yellow tiel, can fly real good but crash lands ALL the time. CRASH! into the curtain she's trying to land on...CRASH! on the floor. She's always been this way and there's nothing wrong with her, she's just not coordinated. The other girls were fine. They'd fly on mom for their loves when it was bed time.
Back to the move...well dad finished his working 2 weeks before we were to leave....mom was hoping for help but got none. Yep, no help at all. And then out of the blue Lisa and Page come back over and bring wood. Didn't take but about 3 hrs to put floor, sides and back on the trailer. Lisa was helping mom pack the kitchen and stuff and all of a sudden Lisa got a call to pick up a bird..a Grey. NO mom didn't even hint on keeping it because Lisa already got a person in mind. We all REALLY miss Lisa and Page. Mom emails all the time and they call but it's not the same.....
So now mom has this great trailer to pack. Some ladies were sent to help mom pack and stuff. Well, mom said she really needed and wanted the walls to be cleaned and gave a few other things needed and you know those ladies NEVER DID A THING! Mom said she needed help packing the trailer...nope of the 4 none helped. They said they needed her inside to tell them what to pack. You would think when someone tells you...this room, this cabinet and stuff you could get that packed right? Nope not a thing. So that REALLY got mom down. Don't remember what dad was doing but he had something he really had to do....OH YEAH, he took the car down to have the oil changed and a few things like that. Yep it was important things. He was miffed when the ladies spent the day playing with the birds instead of helping mom. Oh well, mom wasn't paying them for anything. And she got things done thanks to Lisa. That was an awful day.
Okay on that note... I will let you all know that Sophie is her old self today and was outside playing for a long time with dad. There were few sightings of hawk or crow and dad even took a few videos of how happy she was...mom will post one soon. We got to go outside today too and boy was it wonderful. lots and lots of sun and fresh air.

Not much happening here... Dad is waiting to find out how much more $$$$ He will be getting for his new job. Moms been busy cleaning all weekend. Punkin here to ask for your support me on my way to BOTM. They've given me another chance. I'm also telling about our move. all the stories are on Shaggy's page in case anyone misses a day...which I will be terribly sorry. Here's part 4...#4 of our moving experience....Man mom brought in A LOT of boxes and she put them down...you should have seen all the flying around. Oats, Kiwi and Sidney. Mom started laughing as she went around the house picking everybody up. She said it was a good thing we finches were in our cage cause she'd have a hard time catching us. hehehe. Well after everybody went back to their cages mom started filling those boxes. You know it took her a super short time doing it too. So what do you think she did? Yep, got MORE boxes and tape. Sophie says that was fun to play with. For some reason mom didn't like Sophies help and put her back. Imagine that.
Well, it wasn't an exciting time ALL the time. Well, when Oats flew into the box, that was fun. hehehe When dad came home mom told dad all about Sophie's help. Hello my sweet little peachy headed conure!!
Mom never did get us to the milonga that night.
Sunday mom was sick all day and it followed into Monday! Yukkk! Poor mom slept most of Sunday and Monday! She is back at work today. Still feeling weak and tired but there. Its a little chilly here today and they are tawk'n a possible hurricane at the end of the week.. Whats up with that crapola!!??
Dad says we wont get it here. cough cough.. Dads know it all!! Yeah! I gotta fly! I'm look'n forward to a little getaway at the ski lodge!! When does it open?

First of all, let us say we are sorry for getting back to you so late! Mom has been VERY busy! Now, let us thank you all for voting us BOTD!! Thank you for leaving us a vote for BOTD or saying congrats on BOTD, or both! But we have to do a C/P or Peatree won't get her time:(
Here is a our honeymoon went.
We got up early on the 13th and flew to Hawaii (Weasley had a blind fold on, she ondid not know), and we went over to Sally & Pookie's house (that's when I let her take off the blind fold!). We stayed in the cutest little beach house, we were so close to the water! So we unpacked, and after that, we took a long walk on the beach. When we got up the next day, we made breakfast and after breakfast we went swimming! We swam for about 3 hours untill we went over to Sally & Pookie's to have lunch with them, let us tell ya their momma is a good cook!
So last night we packed up our things so we would be ready. The next day Pookie & Sally's mom drove us back to the house, and we flew home. It was the best honeymoon ever!
