Hi! My name is Mason-----RIP. 11-1995 to 11-2012

I am a Cockatiel from connellsville, PA.

20 years old   F

hard boiled eggs, avi cakes

on her mom or next to her stand there is a closet & i have a backback carrier hanging there she loves to sit on it.

Hates the color red and doesnt like strangers. only likes her mom. She was my first bird thats probably why.

She helps me get around alot and uses ladders as bridges to help me get from point A to point B. See a few months back Mason started falling alot & acting sickly. I took her to my vet & they xray her & found her spine had fused together at her lower back & she has osteoprosis from her many years of egg laying. She no longer can fly which is sad for me to watch. I thought i was gonna lose her when it all first happened but now im happy to report shes like a different bird. She finally gave up on sitting on her eggs (by the way they been duds for 3 years, her last success was my lucky). I now think she accepts not being able to fly & cries to me for help & uses her ladders in case she falls on floor, shes so smart i didnt even have to teach her she climbs ladder that i provided her that i sat on floor to help her get back up to her stand/cage if im not available to help her if she falls. She plays with toys and sits on me constantly & crys for me often. Thats something she never done before cause before she was always with her eggs.

  Hello, Mason!
You are a very special lady and we are sad to hear about your recent medical problems. Sunny also is an older lutino that laid lots of eggs over her lifetime. Three weeks ago, she became egg bound and needed to be hospitalized. She is doing a whole lot better now after a lot of TLC from mom. Lupron shots have worked wonders to stop the egg laying! We're glad to hear you have a great mom like us! We sure are lucky ducks...or shall I shall cockatiels! Have a great life! Birdie hugs and kisses from us to you! Fly (oops...have mom bring you) on by and see our flock. We would love the company!

PS...You have our vote!!!!

Come visit me, Sunny & Comet, dearest Comet....
