Hey. Thanks for the comment. My mom saw a bird just like you today. She's got some welts on her shoulder from him beaking her a little too hard. Now I can't sit on my favorite shoulder because my nails are digging into her sore shoulder.

I am a Catalina macaw! My daddy bird is a Scarlet and my mommy bird is a Blue & Gold. I like to bite buttons off of people's clothing. This makes them mad but I just laugh about it...Hahaha! I also like to go after Daddy's toes, and then when he says "stop that", I just laugh and laugh. I also like to attack the birdie in this shiny thing called a mirror. Well gotta go for now. Hey Ruby Rose! Boating on Lake Erie, huh? Sounds like fun. My human used to fish Lake Erie for walleye in her boat, but she did it in Ohio. (Sandusky area). They used to live south of Chicago near the Indiana border, so they were on Lake Michigan almost every weekend for Salmon and Trout. Now she lives down here in Missouri on Table Rock Lake, so she's stuck with panfish and Bass....lol...Hope your folks have a good weekend on their boat! I'm not even sure how many homes I've actually had, but I'm thinking that I'm being more spoiled in this newest one....I sort of rule the household. When my last owner died and I was given to the Bird Park the info and vet records handed in with me indicated that I was probably close to 40. Welcome to BC from a fellow macaw! I am a Catalina, whick means you look like my daddy bird. My mommy bird is a Blue & Gold. I am almost 7 months old. So, you like to make soup, huh? So does my flock mates Sunkist and Merlina. I have a quirky habit of flicking my wing whenever I make a sound, whether it is talking or just kinda grunting. My parronts say it reminds them of an Italian who talks with their hands all the time. Hahaha! Well, I hope you can fly by for a visit sometime and that we can be friends. Let me be the second bird to welcome you to the BC. This is such a great place to meet new friends. The majority of owners are really nice. You sure are a breathtaking macaw. I myself am a Hahns Macaw, pictured in the latest Bird Magazine article for the month and as they say pack a terrific bunch in our medium sized bodies. Enought about me. Here is my vote for you.
