 My bird parents gave me up because I'm white and they and the other birds are pretty blue, so my mother cared me since very young helping me to learn how to eat alone. As I had learn quick, soon I started to repeat what she used to say while caring me: Sophia feiosa (a bit ugly)... Of course it is a joke.. |

Hey Sophia! Thank you, I'm glad that you like my cage. I kind of need a large one, because I'm a rather large bird! Yes, it is sad that the rainforests are disappearing. I feel badly for all the bird species that may be lost forever. I don't have a legband, and have no idea if I was wild-caught or not--I am old enough to have been. Kiwi here. Oh yes, I would love to be counted as a friend. Boy, plants all over. That must be great. I think I'd like that too. Much better than the snow we get. Yes, that's me in the snow. Right after the picture was taken Dad made sure I was warmed up. hehe The snow doesn't usually last long. Only a couple of days, but the year the picture was taken we had a lot of snow. Being the kind of bird from Argentina (no. I was hatched in Nevada, USA) I have real good feathers for cold weather. But I much rather be in warm. We've had a whole week of thunder storms which is unusual for this state. I like the rain, but not the noise from the thunder!
