Hi Jesse WOW that's great you got a bigger cage. That's the size a cage that Oatie has. It used to be Sidney and Ipo's but they like a smaller cage and they only sleep in their cage anyhow. Besides...their cage is still in Reno. We just want everybird to know that we're all fine after the tornado activity last night. We want to make sure we pray for those in the Charlotte, NC and Durham, NC where there were touch downs. Not only here in NC but all the other places that the weather is so frightening. Now on to part 15....Oh if only the porch were screened in then we wouldn't have to be yanked into the house and put in mom and dad's small bedroom. We know it isn't for long though.....True, it did last a lot longer than expected...Dad gets on the computer all day long (that's why mom could never get on) and he's looking for a house we can afford. He makes a lot of calls and never gets called back. One day Mom comes outside and says we must go inside. We really want to know why??? A WHAT???!! A Hurricane? Okay if we were out we woulda flown inside faster than she can carry us!! All we got was about 5" of rain, but that was enough what with all the wind too. Mom says she's glad we're inland as far as we are so we didn't get hit harder. We are too!! Well, we survived our first hurricane. And we are all doing wonderful. Hi Jesse Punkin here to ask if you're doing okay? I sure hope so. So much has happened this fall already. We've been worried about our friends up north. We're now in NC and I'm going for BOTM and telling of our moving experience I added some photos of our travel Dad was planning on taking pics of each state but it didn't work out because of the pace they set. And some states were entered at night. Part 12.....Dad says that our travels are nearly over!!So mom keeps checking the tom-tom to check the route...Dad NEVER set it he's using his computer for the route. So he's asking mom what road should he take and all. Hey that's NOT the road....the road is back there! DAD! Can't you read? MOM! YOU BLIND????!!! Wow did we see lots of pretty country all cause they got all switched around. hehehe Dad was trying to save money by avoiding toll roads and so we got lost a few times. What lovely country. All green and all. We missed most rains too which was lovely. So FINALLY we see the WELCOME TO NC sign. Not long now. Raleigh is only a hundred or so miles. Boy is it ever taking a long time getting to Raleigh....HEY DAD! THERE'S THE ROAD TO RALEIGH! Oh, we gotta take a different turn? Thata girl, mom! Call skin sis and find out the RIGHT road....OH THIS IS THE RIGHT ROAD. Sorry dad. This trail is Old Sorrell Rd? Pretty isn't it? THERE IT IS!! HEY LOOK HOW PRETTY TREES EVERYWHERE! GREEN EVERYWHERE! We're stopped! Mom is getting ALL us birds out. Oh this IS wonderful air! no smog here for sure. HI all our wild cousins! Hey mom's getting out all our cages and putting them together. YES mom is putting together ONLY THE MOST IMPORTANT CAGES. Oh brother, can you believe we're in with a person who's not ANY experience with birds..okay they had a keet once but he couldn't take the noise. Wait'll Sophie starts calling!! heheheehe. Mom got all the cages built and us birds in them. ALL THIS ROOM! THANK YOU MOM! Thus we landed in the Raleigh, NC area....tomorrow you get to hear about other parts of our new life......
