Sly here. Whew it's been a week. Thunder showers every day and the rain is fine, but the thunder....leave that!
Mom was talking to a lady all week about Mina and now she's living with the lady. After hearing how long mom's had her and how aggressive Mina is with mom it was the best thing. Mom's going to have a good scar on her neck from Mina too.
I get lots more Sly time now. hehehe I met a Grey named Friday. He's new here and you ought to fly by and meet him. At least I didn't think I saw your name there. When you fly by you can just click on his name. Sly here. you must be pretty good. Mom just wants to make sure there is someone she can ask about vets and things. Yeah, we already know where a petsmart is, but... Well, we won't go there. hehe

Wow we had quite a nice rain storm. I sure didn't like the thunder, but the rain was nice. First rain we've had in a couple of months. They say it may be like this again tomorrow. That's okay as long as mom's home with me during thunder. Sly here. Yeah I know what you mean. Mom takes us everywhere she can and people ask her why we don't fly. She tells them for 2 reasons; 1 they love me and 2 their wings are clipped for their safety. Mom would like to harness me and Kiwi but I won't let her near me with one of those things and Kiwi says they're to heavy for him. She even got a flight suit for Kiwi and he runs every time he sees it. Mina likes it, but won't let mom touch her any more. She's such a pill!!
How far from Raleigh are you? Mom's daughter lives there and she's trying to get mom and dad to move there too. Mina here. Wow you're a good lookin grey. You get to fly! That's great. Mom keeps our wings trimmed. I nearly few off one day last year and so that blew it for everyone but the finches. They get to fly everywhere. Sly has never flown, his wings have always been trimmed. Kiwi likes it when mom isn't paying attention and his wings grow out.
