Hi Zazu!
When is your birthday? My mommy got me for her wedding anniversary. She always wanted a big bird and she told daddy she wanted an african grey and she got me. I think I make a wonderful present just like you did! We are the bestest presents anyone can get! I dig at the bottom of my cage too. Mom laughs at me when I do it and calls me a chicken. She tells daddy that I am playing chicken when I am at the bottom of my cage. I guess you could say I do more so of a scratching than a digging. Mom thinks it is too funny! I cannot believe how many congos and timnehs love grapes. I love grapes for THROWING! They are so fun to throw. They are round and little just like my yellow ball...I throw my yellow ball so why shouldn't I throw my grapes. Mom claims it doesn't work that way. Mom now cuts my grapes up so I don't throw them so now I put them in my water dish instead. he he he. Mom isn't going to win this battle. he he he. Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. I'm a grey zazue!
Hey we have the same name and are the same kind of bird! How did you get that name? When I was adopted by my mommy, I already had my name. I know why I am named Zazue but I'm not telling.
I'm not a digger, but I've heard that some young greys are.
I love grapes and peanuts too, but mommy only lets me have 1 peanut a day because she says too many nuts and seeds can give me fatty live disease, whatever that is. Oh well, I get lots of other great food!Come visit me, Zazue, Layla & Miko.
