 I wanted some kind of parrot since I was about 10.Mom said no.When I turned 22 I had the talk again, after doing reading and research just to make sure I didn't get my hopes up.Then to this I still read and research.I decided on conures as the best pet for me and it was one of the best choices I ever made in my life.I adopted him after New years he was four months old and I raised him.He lacked all his yellow and was green and a lighter orange. I still remember the day I walked in the door and him and his sister were exploring everywhere.. |

 Spoils me,feeds me yummy healthy treats,lets me sleep in mom & dads bedroom,brings Loni and I things home from their trips to amusement parks that they think we'll love,like the ride photos that look like me! Thats so awsome!

So great to hear from you. I'm sorry that you're mom's been so sick. That's just terrible. Thank goodness she had you and Loni there to take care of her. I've heard smiling and laughter help our humans to heal faster and surely with you there beside her, your mom was able to better quicker than she would've without you two.
My mom's been away for the past week on a mini-skiing trip. This is the first time I've been home without her since joining the family. The youngest of the human sons has been taking care of me and doing a very nice job. He even lets me sit on his shoulder while he's do the cleaning and feeding. I try to get him to give me neck-scritches but he thinks I'm going to bite him. I wouldn't do that. I just want my neck rubbed! My mom should be home later today; I can hardly wait. Happy Thanksgiving, Blaze (& Loni Too)
Mmmm; sweet potatoes. Love those things. Didn't have any today. That's because the family didn't eat the big dinner till after my bedtime so it looks like I'll be having my Turkey-Day dinner as leftovers on Friday. Oh well, bet I'll be just as thankful.

My flockmate, Jensen has chatted with you in the past but this time I thought it should be my turn. You're such a gorgeous guy; what snazzy colors! I see you like those wonderful head scritches as I do. When I first joined this flock my new mom wondered if maybe I'd gotten so out of the practice of having hands around my face I wasn't going to allow it anymore but with time (a matter of weeks) I've decided it's worth the risk to let her hover over me.

I am the King of my flock and I am the only one who sleeps in my mom and dads room and if I have anything to say about it that's the way it will remain. I let them know when I am ready to get up.
