Active within 2 Days Hi! My name is Percephone I am a Cockatiel from Lewiston, ME. Steph, Stephie, Pip, Geanie, Twirp and Pop. 6 years old F Cockatiel Tuna [fresh cooked] and shark steak as well so long as it has no sauce on it. Once in a while mom will give me a dorito or a cheese doodle for a treat but like once a year because she said its NOT good for me, what does she know? My swing is my favorite place to be no matter what else you have to offer me. I do NOT sit on my eggs when I lay them and you cant make me. Its a defect, my mom says that its the SLDYC [sex linked dominant yellow cheeck] in me but she really wants me to have some pretty babys for her so I will just keep laying them and SHE can do all the work. She doesnt care if I chew on her fingers even if it hurts a little. She also scritches my head which I adore. chewing on toothpicks [especially the mint ones] so it looks like a ciggarette in my mouth. I also chew off the feathers of my cge mate as well. Not very nice but who said I wanted to share my cage anyways?. If its in my cage it belongs to me!.

THEY'RE HERE!!!! Finally!!! Here are the picture of my lovely clutch of babies(there's even a picture of me feeding them)! And check out Treasure's blog, theres a picture of him feeding them, too. They're growing up fast & mom will be posting more pics soon. Some very lucky people at mom's bird club will be getting a precious gift (or 2) for Christmas. Mom will be keeping 2 & will find good (only the best) homes for the other 3. It's so important to place them with the right people so they get the love & care they deserve. HI PERCEPHONE & Co! Great to hear from you again! Happy to hear your babies are doing so well. So one of them is getting to stay with you, that's great. I love the name Starburst,she's really a pretty little girl. I'd love to see a picture of the proud Papa, Einstein, too. Here our babies are growing up fast, mom will be posting pictures of them tomorrow, so stay tuned. They are really something, so gorgeous! She'd like to keep two of them; she's trying to decide between Tabitha or Tally for the girl; the boy she's naming Affleck (he walks, sounds & acts just like a duck). The others mom will give away (she's is no position to sell them since she's got no true experience with breeding). Well, we have the fly now, speak to you soon! --BABY UPDATE-------BABY UPDATE Congratulations! The babies look really healthy & beautiful. Guess what, we're even; Lily's 3rd baby hatched today. They are soooooo cute, aren't they? BTW, what's your boyfriend's name? I love the way Treasure helps Lily care for the babies. They guard them so fiercely it's hard to get a look at these cute little yellow "fuzzballs" wriggling around. And that "cheep-cheep" sound they make really gets to our mom. HI PERCEPHONE Haven't been on for awhile, mom is having alot of problem with her computer, will probably have to get a new one by the end of the year. Anyway, hope your mom turns out to be a good matchmaker after all & you wind up really loving your new boyfriend! And great news! Lily's eggs are hatching, the 2nd hatched today! She & Treasure are so protective of them, they keep their wings over them, but you can see their little feet & their little heads keep poking out! Well, glad to speak to all you guys again! Hi! Glad to know you guys are OK! And congratulations to you for doing so well in that show! Sorry it didn't work out with the bird you met, but you'll get by anyway; you still have a great bunch of flockmates. It is so frustrating when your computer blows; mom's crashed recently ( & just when Lily was running for BOTW). She had to call tech support, it took 3 hours, but fortunatley she was able to restore it! Well, I'm sure your mom will get the part it needs soon & thing'll get back to normal. Hi Persephone & family Lily @ co. here. Thx for reminding me, my NCS membership expired, I completely forgot about renewing, I'm ashamed to say, have to do that today. There's a Bird Show/Mart coming up in October in Freeport,NY and I always go - I'm hoping you might be there, then maybe we'll meet each other! Anyway, Perse, hope one way or another your eggs will hatch & we'll have a few more much-desired YCs in the world! Its been hot & sunny here & which of course boosts our energy levels, so we're loud & rowdy, flying all over the house & having a great time!! Hi Persephone We are so happy to come across another YC!!! Mom bought Lily from the only breeder of YC tiels she has ever known! Shes never seen them before or since in any store or bird mart. Lily lays eggs, too - she, on the other hand, sits on them & refuses to budge - mom let Lily & Treasure raise 4 lovely fids: Bungee (YC-M), Monique (Pastelchk-F) who by the way, could pass for Luna's twin, Simon (YC-M), & Mojo (YC-F). Mom would like to see more YCs - shell allow Lily & Treasure to produce a couple of more clutches If she can find a responsible breeder to place them with. Anyway, hope youre having good summer weather!(We hear Maine's a great place to be at this time of year). Mom's right about those CheeseDoodles, though, but mom gets us these great "vegan" cheese sticks from the health food store - they're made out of soy & a very safe & nutritious alternative & birds can eat all they want without having to worry about getting sick!!
