Hi! My name is Tweety

I am a Lovebird from Cape Coral, FL.

Cheep Cheep, Cheepy Bird, Bird Bird, Birdy,Cheepy Birdy, Cheepy, Tweester,Bird.

11 years old   M

Millet spray; we don't call them that though, we call them "Yum-Yums". :)

On ppl's heads, shoulders, in his hut (when he goes to bed), on his platform (in his cages), and on top of his toys.

When ppl stick their fingers in his cages( 1 cage is inside and the other one is outside).

Whats not to love???!!!

He likes to fly in his "avery" (pool cage), he likes to talk to his "friends" (other birds outside), and sit on your shoulder and on your head.
Oh! I almost forgot! He likes to take baths in his birdy bath (when he is flying outside), and take baths in the kitchen sink (when he is flying inside), and another thing I almost forgot is that he likes to try to talk with us (his family) (talking in our lauguage), even though he can only say one word that we can understand, "baby cheepy" :) (one time, though, I did have a conversation with him because he knows how to tell us "yes" an "no").

I don't have one....YET!!!!.

  My Story
The reason why he doesn't have a blurb telling you how we met is because it was too long, but I will post it right now.:

How We Met:

Well, this is quite a long story here, just to warn you, but anyway, in the year 2005, my mom can to pick up my sister and I from school (yes I still in school). Well, if you know my mother well, you know that when she sees her friend(s), she likes to start talking (A LOT!!!!) Anyway, while she was talking to her friends, my sister and I went to play on our school's playground because we knew we'd be there for awile and because we saw some of our friends. While we were playing, we heard our mother calling our names, so we thought it was time to go. We ran to our mother and on top of her golden hair sat this beautiful lovebird. As soon as I spotted it, I yelled to my mother, "MOMMY! MOMMY! THERE'S A BIRDY ON YOUR HEAD!" "I know that", she told me. Then she said," If the bird stays on my head until we get home, you can ask your father if we could keep it". (We didn't know if the bird was a he or a she.)
Sure enough, the bird stayed on my mom's head until we got home. My sister and I raced through the door and bursted into our father's office and yelled "DADDY! CAN WE KEEP IT?! CAN WE KEEP IT?!" "Keep what?" Just then our mother walked through the door into his office. We pointed to her head. "THAT! SO DADDY CAN WE?! CAN WE KEEP IT?!" After a few short moments he answered with a "yes". "YEA!" we exclained. "What should we name him?" I asked. "How about Tweety?" my dad suggested. "That's perfect!" I exclaimed. After we finished our homework, we went to the pet store to buy Tweety a cage. We put Tweety in it when we got home, and filled up Tweety's food bowls. Then we did our own things and then went to bed. Then next morning, I woke up and when to go see Tweety. Tweety wasn't in the cage so I started walking towards my mom's office to ask her where Tweety was. As I spun around, I saw her in the living room leaning over a little black box (there wasn't a lid on it). I walk over there to see what was in it. I peeked in it and started to cry. In the box layed Tweety, not moved a muscle. "When I got home from my meeting last night, he was brathing funny so I took him out of his cage and took my stethicope out of my closet to check him. I tried to save him but he died anyway", my mom explained. (My mom is a nurse and not a vet.) I cried while I was getting ready for school that cruel Thusday morning. I couldn't consentrate on any of my school work for that day and the next, but all of that was about to change when my mom picked us up from school Friday and told us "Your father told me that we could go get another bird today". The entire drive to Pet Kingdom, my sister and I sat there with huge smiles on our faces. In Pet Kingdom, we headed strait for the lovebirds. My sister and I spotted one that we liked, and it was also the youngest one there. We put it on hold and wnt to one more pet store. We didn't find any bird

Come visit me, Snowflake, Sonny, Valentine, Coconut Locker Head & Tweety.
