 My oldest daughter and I visited one of our local pet shops and came across a pair of 1 yr old female Caiques....it was love at first sight! Talking about being a "clown"...they certainly were!
As we couldn't afford to get the pair nor split them up, we each decided on purchasing a baby Caique. I did an inernet search and found a breeder in FL. After a few emails, we both made deposits.
I let my bird pick me out instead of my picking one out of the 3 we had to choose from.
I have had Pickles now 5 days and am in awe at how quickly she learns things. There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't make me laugh.. |
