Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. We notice that she flies a little to get around her cage and can defiantly use a bigger one. Thank you; please visit her web site at www.1luckybird.com Come visit me, Tweety, Frosty and Ringo.

Here’s a vote for you and a birdie poem: I love birds, I love them so, Life without them I’ll never know. Each day starts with a meeting, Chirps and whistles it’s their own special greeting. Fresh fruits and veggies to wash and chop, Served with warm birdie bread to fill each crop. Toys of wood, leather and bells, Makes for fun with loud squawking yells. Feathers and pellets all over my floor, Does not deter me from loving them more. As the sun fades we share kisses and scritches, Then it’s off to each cage with sweet dream wishes. If you enjoyed that, please stop by the Bird Contest section on this website and give us your vote in the poetry contest – we are on page 4! Mom would like to add another member to our flock and by winning a new cage, this would encourage Daddy to let her do so! Come visit me, Riley, Tinkerbell, Tiki & Sayde Rose.

Hi Sunny! I'm learning to let my people put their hands in my cage but I still don't like it much. I quit biting because I figured it didn't do any good (they kept putting their hands in anyway). Now I just squawk at them. I'm glad you have a new home with a new mommy.Come visit me, Jazz & Spike.

Hands can be very scary Sunny! I get upset when Sara has to fill my food dish (thank goodness my water dish hangs outside my cage!). Beaks can be scary, too, I use mine whenever Sara handles me, but she's not afraid- she's been bitten by much bigger birds than me! Some birds learn to like hands, though, Sam even likes to be petted. The trick for your caregiver is to work slow, but don't give in or retreat when you bite! It's terribly been cold here with lots of snow, but it's starting to warm up a LITTLE bit. Drop in anytime!- Tedi Come visit me, Tedi, Sam, Sky *RIP* & Wind.

Hi Sunny! Welcome to the channel! So you were just recently adopted! You sound like you are fitting in just perfectly! I visited you because I saw you were from Maryland. I live in Ocean City Maryland....maybe you've visited here before? I used to work at Jolly Roger Amusement Park before mom rescued me. You'll have to come visit me sometime. Today, I'm going to give you your #2 vote! Laters...birdie hugs, BuddyCome visit me, Clyde, Tiki, Buddy, r.i.p. 8/20/08 & Bobbi.

Welcome to Bird Channel! Hello Sunny, congratulations on getting your own web page! My caregiver, Sara, used to have a 'tiel that looked a lot like you, his name was Mucha and he lived to be 18. Do you talk human or whistle yet? Mucha could say birdiebirdiebirdie... in a very high-pitched voice and he LOVED to whistle, her other 'tiels didn't though (although they were very cute!). Feel free to visit me or my adopted sibs anytime! -TediCome visit me, Tedi, Sam, Sky *RIP* & Wind.
