 April 12, 1997 a woman came into the pet store and was struck by my charm. She was warned that I was afraid of hands and fingers and would attack them viciously. I was teased a lot by little children who would poke their fingers into my cage. My future pet human was even erroneously told that the only way to let me out was to reach in my cage with her hand pulled into her sweater. Undaunted, and mesmerized with my beauty, she purchased me and brought me home. I did give her several hard nips and bites, but she was determined to win my trust. It didn't take her long. Besides, I discovered that fingers were awesome for head scratches!. |

I love millet, seeds, spinach, nutriberries, brown rice and pasta.
 I love to hang out on my pet human, but I also love the climbing tree and the cagetop playgym on Chicklet's cage. The wicker chair is also a favorite spot, but that's another story...
 I really hate the phone ringing and the way my pet human follows me around with the camera all the time! I can't even preen sometimes and she's taking pictures. I HATE THE CAMERA!!!!!
 I love all the affection I get - especially when she snuggles me to her face and pets me and scratches my head.
 It's pretty gross! Are you sure you want to know? O.K. then, here it is...I don't go potty all night and then when I'm uncovered in the morning, I let 'er rip with a huge dropping! Bombs away! I usually like to do this while I am clinging to the side of my cage so it makes an even bigger mess! I am just like a lory. I also hate to be disturbed when I am having my afternoon nap. I get really cranky!.

This week we are blogging earlier, yes today is Tuesday not Wednesday. The parront will stay home today after she comes back from the community club where she is using the computer to do our blogs heee... The weather remains in the 80 range. The airport is slow. That's a real bummer when your sweet Mom has to work on your special day! My Mom is always out and about when I have something special happening in my life!You are such a sweet thing and I just love all your pictures! What kind of nutriberries did you get? We all like the cranberry ones the best! Oh talk about confetti! Do I ever love to shred paper like you read about! I'll bet we could make some pretty lacy paper together!
I do hope you get lots of attention and TLC from your sweet Mom this weekend too and lots and lots of pampering as you had to miss out on most of that while your Mom had to work! We were all sooo happy to see you make BOTD! It's always sooo cool to see another tiel in the castle!

What a cute pic! I love it! Last night was lots of fun, but again we didn't get to talk to everybirdie. If we missed you, we all apologize. Mom has 2 tours today in Dinosaurs, and needs to pick up more supplies for the baby squirrels, so we have to be brief today. She said don't expect pics of these 3, they came here with bushy tails and eyes open, so she hopes to have them back at the center by Wednesday at the latest, eating and not taking formula from a syringe. She won't photograph them because it may stress them too much, being that they can see and are active little ones, beginning to be wild babies. Hope you have a good day, it looks sunny but cool here.
